From the seller.............
Hi, Meat Loaf didn't mind me or the other people up close taking pictures with the flash on. In fact he posed for a lot of the pictures I took. I'm not even selling all of the pictures I took because some of them are really special to me especially the ones where he is looking direct at me and posing for them. My friend is actually one of Meat Loafs stage hands and he said Meat doesn't mind having his picture taken with flash on and isn't bothered about people selling pictures of him. The only people he has problems with is paps because of the amount of money they make for their pictures. I didn't intend to even sell these but I've been asked by so many people that I thought I might as well sell a few sets and I'm sure Meat wouldn't have a problem with it. I'm not making a fortune for these pictures, I know other people who have sold pictures for a lot of money and that's wrong. I just want to give people a chance to share some of the magic of that night, I'm not a professional photographer and I am planning on putting some of these pictures on a website so people can view them. If you want to rant at someone rant at the other people who were there and have been selling their pictures for a lot higher price than me.

If all he wants to do is give people a chance to share the pics, why not just put them all on a website?
That is exactly what I am saying...for this type of a money - might have given it away already...such a waste all around...

that just so wrong, in many ways.
Why does he/she think if it's ok for Meat to take pictures to SELL THEM too?
Does he/she really think that Meat posed for him/her?
All the people on here share their pictures for the joy and info of other fans, but this person has the urge to SELL THEM?
dont want to bring the 'real fan' debate up, but is a person who is selling their pictures, instead of putting them up her, for example, a real fan?

Jesus Christ ! OK this is so wrong on so many levels !
No way in hells chance is Meat going to be at all pleased with this and neither would he have posed for a camera with a flash, jesus some respect would be nice !!!!

It doesn't take much does it
What I don't agree with isn't just the selling of pictures, but the selling of crap pictures. Had the pictures been sharp and clear and not grainy and blurry then they might have a point. Also, someone on this board must have been stood very very close to them when they took them.

if cameras are banned, how can we enjoy the great concert pics we are lucky to get on this site from time to time? its great to get to see meat and the band at shows i cant attend. to see the intensity, emotion and drama that goes into those performances is a real treat

I'm probably in a minority here BWTF I'm not really interested in the same or similar photo's of Meat and the band from every gig, it's just history repeating. I'd prefer to see original sharp photo's that haven't been seen before.

If he thinks they are good he should see mine from RAH! To be honest I don't see a problem with taking photos, even with flash, except for songs like Objects or For Crying Out Loud (we should be so lucky!). The only thing worse than this prat selling them, is the idiots that would pay for them

OK I messaged this person and look at what I got back;
His real fans? I am a real fan and have been all my life. What about the other people who sell pictures from concerts? Is it OK for them to do that?!! What about people who sell his CDs? Books? DVDs? That is just the same thing in my eyes.
'Real fans' do not make him a product and try to make money out of him  !
Well, it appears to be one confused individual...
How did he confuse people re-selling previously bought ML official merchandise like books, CDs and DVD's with his crappy homemade pics???

OK, Messaging the bloke is little goofy and I'm not surprised by his response. However...somebody must be making him a product and making money out of it, otherwise you wouldn't have any merchandise at all.
Pud
Wow! Looking at his advertising picture, he needs to go back to school and study. That picture isn't that great. I wouldn't buy them after looking at that picture. I've got better pictures that have been taken with my phone.
Anyway, its up to him and the person who buys the pictures, goodness knows why anyone would want to.
'Real fans' do not make him a product and try to make money out of him  !
Surely anyone who sells something relating to an actor/singer/icon is making money out of them?
It is a bit of a piss taketo take pics with the intent of making money off of them, especially if the flash was used because that annoys me as part of the audience never mind the guys on stage...though to be honest I'm more curious as to who on the front row it was...! :p
