Hi all,

Hope you don't mind me posting this as i really dont want to cause an argument or anything 8O , but on the shout board there has been a bloke called Crib Shot who has really been slagging Patti off.

I replied that although everyone is entitled to thier opinion, sometimes it's more appropriate NOT to give an opinion if it causes offence. While i respect Crib's right to free speech, i have found his remarks about Patti to be rude at best, and at worst bang out of order. I know that if i don't like it, i don't have to read it, but it just doesn't seem fair as Patti doesn't have a chance to defend herself on here.

That's me had my moan, and i've probably come across as a right winger, but i donn't think it's fair to pick on someone who's in no position to fight back.

Heat,

Thanks very much, i know that the mods on this forum are working on it. Offcourse everybody has his right to speak, but sometimes it can go to far. I'm one of the persons who has gone to far in some other forums, but i know.....it was my opinion, but it was rude.

Evyerbody can speak what they want, but insulting another person, that's bad. It can't be done. not on the internet. But...... The internet is a way of communication, and sometimes that can be read in the wrong way. But don't think that is in this way.

I'm glad you said it in the shoutbox, and now here on this forum. I won't close this, cause i want to speak open about it.

Well, i will come back on this, but don't know the right English words for now.

Tim, The Butcher.

Gotta agree with ya Heat, this Crib Shot person did go a bit far, especially when Patti's not here to defend herself.

It's fair enough to have you're own opinions but I was always taught that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Indeed, Patti had to defend herself, but she can't, that is low. And you can say something that is not nice, but it is the way you type it. It is internet, and things can't be misunderstood easily!!

But i agree, that person has gone to far!

i donn't think it's fair to pick on someone who's in no position to fight back. In no position? That's not my fault.

I believe my comments have been taken out of all proportion. I simply voiced my bête-noir towards the person you call Patti. At no stage did I use foul and gratuitous language, and I still maintain that I was within my rights to most such comments.

Regards,
Crib Shot.

I like the way you said "The Person we call Patti" We call her that because its her name. Secondly i'm all for having an opinion but you were well out of line with those comments.
