I understand these 2 music giants were involved at point in the early versions of the new album, as far as writing some songs, and Mick was supposed to have produced. My question is: does anyone have any info on what their involvement was (song titles?) and was their actually anything recorded. Especially in Peterik's case, the man is one of my favorite songwriters of all time :)
I'v just had a look in the booklet for the cd and there is no mention of any of these names i'm sorry.
I dont know if anyone else can hlp you more?

It was Mick Jones from Foreigner, I doubt either he or Jim Peterik would be mentioned in the booklet, since they were only involved early last year, I was just interested in additional details about their involvment :D
From Blog page 21 of (that pretty good, I think!) website KasimInfo.com (at http://www.kasiminfo.com/Blog/Blog21.html ) on 02/19/02, I copied a press release which included:
In related Meat Loaf news, his new album is now re-titled Testify and is scheduled for release in March. But, as the release date has not been posted anywhere official, so that is likely to change to a later date.
Songs set to be featured on the album include: Do It, Love You Out Loud, Man Of Steel, Shadow Land, Decadent Wish, Why Isn't That Enough?, Unsaid and Tear Me Down.
There are more tracks to be added, but at this stage it is interesting to note that the song written by Jim Peterik and album producer Mick Jones (Foreigner) for the album, titled Wires And Wood, is not yet included in the track listing."

Wires and Wood...hmmmmm must find that track !!! If Jim Peterik wrote it, it has to be good (ok, so I'm a little biased  )
Thanks for the update !!!

Agreed!
Probably "Wires And Wood" will turn up in another of Peteriks projects soon and we will be able to judge ourselfs. On the one hand I would have loved hear Meat do a Peterik song, on the other hand you cannot really say Meat picked the wrong songs for CHSIB...

I'd never publically second guess Meat, and I'd have loved to hear him take on Peterik's track, I'll be watching and contacting some of my Survivor contacts to see if they can get the demo for me.....will update, if it turns up
