I'm pretty sad to see that there...I'm one of the "old bats" at MLUKFC (so to speak!) and I wouldn't part with my RVM's for love or money, they're wonderful records of photos and memories that I'll treasure forever, not to mention the hard work from Anne, Diane and the rest of the fans who contributed.

Disappointing :(

Completely agree.

Sad to see the lengths some people will go to to make a quick buck...:?

Me personally, I wouldn't sell my Meat'y goodies if I didn't need too, but at the end of the day, if an item belongs to someone, they can do what they wish with it. There could be many reasons for a person to sell their items, and may need to. Also, the item will end up in the hands of another fan anyway, better than it rotting away somewhere, imo. :D

It's extremely sad and bloody annoying that those issues are on Ebay for more than £5 each (keeping in mind that some of us have every issue) when a lot of us here spent a lot of time writing articles, reviews, taking photos, interviewing band members etc to make those issues something special

I agree, it can be sad and annoying, but what someone does with what is now their property, is up to them. And it's the bidding, what has pushed it beyond the £5.00 mark, so it looks like some real fans are gonna get thier hands on them, rather than they end in the bin. :D

Oh absolutely, the seller's bought the issues in the first place so it's entirely up to him/her what they do with them, and fair play if they have something that they no longer want and can make some money out of them...but as one of many who contributed to many issues of RVM it's a great shame to see them sitting on Ebay...I really hope they do go to a Meat fan who'll appreciate them

what's the problem?
Maybe it's "just" a "usual" magazine for the person ownling it, read once or twice and then went to the closet, and found again after some tidying up.

Sorry, but really dont see the problem here

I'm sure it is just a usual magazine to the person selling it, and as I said fair play for making money out of something they don't want anymore - I know we all would - I'm just saying that, as someone who contributed to them, it's a shame to see someone else making money off of something that a lot of hard work went into

I'd of thought if that person is bidding on them, then I should think they'll go to a fan who'll appreciate them :D ;)

Not sure who's bidding on them...

Everything ends up on eBay eventually doesn't it? What I find really sad is that someone is going to pay an inflated price for a used copy of at least one of the RVMs when it is still available through the Fan Club in brand new, pristine condition for a fraction of the current bid.

Anyone who wants back issues of the RVM should check with Andy or me first for availability before forking out on eBay.

I guess you should think on it as a compliment that someone is willing to pay that much for something that you all put a lot of time and effort into?

Why would you pay more for it than you can get it for on here :?

Depends on which issue Emma bought. We only have one of the three issues advertised on eBay still available. The other two were sold out a long time back. Just remember to check with us first before buying on eBay.

Some people have more money than sense, then complain about not having any money

 I completly agree.

Some people like to stuff white powder up their noses, some like to spend a good wedge on leaves rolled into little paper tubes they can put in their mouths and set fire to :wtf:
Others like to toast their friends health as they destroy their own.

Yet other people like collecting beer mats, stamps, postcards, Doctor Who figures (my friends collection of DW stuff is very much on the border of impressive and disturbing  ), or, believe it or not, on stuff about their fav artist.

Still, it's a harmless hobby, and there are much bloody worse things in this world to be addicted to, so who the hell are WE to judge eh?
