HI All & Fire Ball,
I just got my CD from Germany & I am loving it. Just hope none of my
neighbours complain..Has anyone noticed the error on the back page of
the CD booklet? If not look at where it lists Man Of Steel? It is
missing a lettre..Anyone no if the CHSIB CD coming from the UK has
the same problem?

Hmm, that's weird Miriam cause the two spots i see Man of Steel listed in my book, the spelling is fine. BUT, do we have the same two versions of the Germany release, i wonder?! Because over at Universal-m.de, they list CHSIB coming out in three different versions -- two basically appear to be the same to me, the tracks listed are exactly the same but surely something about them must differ. The other version listed also has Bat Out of Hell and Took The Words Right Out of My Mouth listed after Forever Young. The first two are coded CD 0761172 and CD 0655522 (the one i have is the first one) There's more to the catalog numbers but the CD itself only lists the tail end of the cat. numbers so i just listed those. (getting lazy i guess!). The third one with the two other tracks is: CD 0761362 Maybe you have one of the one's that i dont? Hopefully its only a limited error and not on tons of copies! Take care!!

What do you mean by the back page of the CD booklet? The only places where Man Of Steel is listed is inside the front cover, again where the lyrics are, and on the back of the CD. On the back page of the CD booklet, all there is, is red except for the small version of the cover at the bottom, and some small numbers on the right side. On the inside back cover, there are the credits for Crazy About A Mercury, and the thank yous.
There is one tiny little error on my German version...in the details for A Kiss Is A Terrible Thing To Waste on the back cover, there is no closing bracket for ASCAP at the end.
But we're all just being pedantic now, it's no problem...no biggie.

Hi Jen,
I just noticed it is not the booklet..but the sheet under the thing that holds the CD.. If you turn the case over where it lists the songs the problem is there? I have scanned it for who ever wants to see it at:

If you look at Man Of Steel you can see the error..Sorry this was the best scan I could get..My Scanner has never done well with CD pictures.

I see what you mean now. It does look a bit odd. I have the German version, but mine includes the bonus disc, and the song titles are laid out differently because the details for the bonus disc are also on the back. There are no spelling errors on that. I wonder if this spelling error is on all the albums without the bonus disc.

I have the same one you do Shane, and there aren't any spelling errors. I think you're right ... she probably has the one without the bonus disc, and apparently that's the one with the mistake. Interesting :)

I wonder what the CD number is for this one? Like i said, there's apparently three different versions out in Germany. I've got the one that it sounds like Vicki and Shane have, is there any other differences inside i wonder?? Different photos inside maybe?! Hmmmm.....
Take care!

Jen,
How would I check what the CD number is on my CD?

To check which one your CD is, look on the side binding of the CD, mine is listed on the side to the left of Meat Loaf's name and i also just noticed the longer CD numbers are also what the UPC code is (since i only listed the shortened versions which are on the side, just look at the last few numbers in the UPC code, if you can only find this number on your's). That should tell you which version your's is hopefully! Take care!!

Hi Jen,
on the side of mine it says 065 552-2... on the back it says 4400655522...
Can you tell from this ? Where would I find a list of the different versions? Amazon.de doesn't list the CD numbers.
BTW - I am IM'ing with Sue Tappe and her CD is the same as mine on the back.

This one you said, is one of the ones that German Universal Music list in the catalog for Meat at their site; they dont say anything different about the CD tracklisting except the different code number. The third one was the one that listed the album tracks plus Bat and Took the Words, so i guess this album either has the bonus disk AND extra live tracks OR just extra live tracks. Dont know, wish i could be of more help though but at least now i understand what the difference is in the two they list, one has the bonus disk and the other doesnt. Good to know i think! Take care!!
