Didn't know where to put this link for A&E private sessions http://www.aetv.com/private-sessions/index.jsp .....Watched the show pretty good ml got asked a few questions bout celebs he has meet in the past. Talked about JFK, charles manson, john lennon. They showed paradise, hot summer night, and can't think of the other one they showed all 3 songs are from 3 bat live dvd. Had to tape the show cause I was doing double subdivison sale at that time. Pretty good show hope you all got to see it.

I don't have a dvd player on this computer so I can't upload it. Give A&E a few days I bet they will have some stuff uploaded by then. I wish I could upload the clips for you guys. Funny thing was ml joke about the concert being Live from London (then pause) Ontario. They talked a little about his book and a few storys from there as well. btw when I posted the first time it was 3 am here so yeah I was a little tired.

Nope, he's mentioned them half-assedly before in some interview. Kinda funny how he says Celine's version of the song was ONLY a hit and not a mega-hit :wtf: If that's the case then in comparisson to Celine, Meats version of the song was a carboot sale :lmao:

I was hoping for more Bat3 sneak peaks and less Bat1, I can't say it impressed me much.

c'mon, it wasnt that bad.
If these were the original vocals, or re-recorded in the studio, thats another question....

I never said it was bad, I said I was hoping for more Bat3 sneak peaks and less Bat1, I can't say it impressed me much.
Being un-impressed by something isn't the same as it being bad. Had it been bad I'd have said so.

a sentence like I can't say it impressed me much. is mostly used as understatement for it being crap.
Agree with the Bat 3 bit though.

It might be mostly used by you as an understatement for being crap, but it isn't by me and I wrote it. You misinterpretted what I wrote, probably because you wanted to, which isn't my fault but yours. If I thought it was bad or crap then I wouldn't mince my words, I'd say so.

I think they missed a big opportunity to sell some dvd's. At the end of the show the hostess says it is available now in stores and online. I see on Amazon that it is scheduled for October 16th. I wonder how many people saw the show and looked for it somewhere and did not find it. I wish the managers or whoever would watch these details. I knew it wasn't out yet as soon as I heard them say it. I can only guess maybe they did not know the air date when they taped it.

Bit unimpressed with the clips from the DVD. The songs sound slow to me. I certainly would have preferred a DVD from RAH, where I think Meat performed better. Don't get why Meat hasn't released a live show in over 20 years from Europe, where he is really a lot more famous than anywhere else.
Surely "3 Bats Live from London, UK" would have sounded better!
And Pud's right. showing songs 30 years old is playing it a bit "safe" to sell a new DVD. He should have only allowed 1 song from each Bat in my opinion.
Some of the stuff during the interview sounded hypocritical to me: "I don't consider myself a singer", yet when anyone makes a comment about his singing he goes crazy. Surely that must mean that his singing is close to his heart?!
Also the fact that he won't do "Alive" live has more to do with his singing rather than his own interest in songs in my opinion.

was he not going to record the rah show but thought it was too early for the band as they needed more work on or something like that... thoug now, as its a long time ago, I had forgotton where it came from :-(
3 Bats Live In London, Ontario is great, though I am sure it will be... and I must ssay, I am slightly disappointed that he didn't want to film a gig in the Uk.... I wish he did :-)
