According to a press story this weekend, Meat is one of the celebrities appearing in the 2008 BBC Children In Need TOGs Celebrity Calendar which was launched this weekend.

"This year's calendar is one of our best, and features celebrities such as Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Michael Caine, Sir Roger Moore, Meat Loaf, Terry Jones, Miryam Margoyles as well as the Radio 2 Wogan team.

More info and calendar ordering details can be found here http://www.charitygoods.co.uk/

*edit* I've since had this press story confirmed by the calendar organisers.

TOGs is "Terry's Old Geezers (or Gals)" it's terry Wogan's Radio 2 Breakfast show fan club (according to the google search I've just done anyway lol)

Oh dear...I automatically launched into my "Meat Loaf is not an old geezer" rant but then realised that when I next see him he'll be 60 :p And looking bloody good on it I might add!

The TOGS have a forum too - some funny stuff on there - and my dad is one of the Mods, and has (in the past) taken some of the photos used in previous TOGS calendars. He knows I'm a big Meat fan, so if he's had anything to do with those pics and not told me........

If he does it's unlikely to be a live appearance, the show is to be broadcast on 16th Nov, Meat's in Sweden and Norway then.

Can I ask that we all respect the fact that this is a charity calendar for a very well respected and worthwhile cause? As such, please don't post the picture on here, if you want to see the picture of Meat then put your hands in your pocket and buy the calendar ;-)

Stupid postman thought it a wise and bright idea to leave it out in the rain  It's a little bedraggled but the pages luckily turn OK.

I was unable to get one as when I had the money couldnt get one now I have no money. Change the subject a little bit has anyone had a look at the children in need merchandise site a pudsey neckless costing £350 or you could get a tie pin thing of pudsey for £350 with a minimum of £90 going to children in need there was I thinking the idea of charity was to give a couple of quid not a couple of hundred of the quid
