At last I've heard from my tutor on the last part of my Cert. Ed. - I've passed it! That means the two years of studying, writing, re-writing and re-submitting, re-re-submitting and keeping my fingers crossed are over, and I get to dress up in posh robes and stuff and graduate!
Woohoo to me!!!!
Congratulations!!! Well done and we expect photos of you in your robes!!!

Well done you. We need photos. x
Congratulations ... although if all you wanted to do was dress up in robes, surely a trip to the fancy dress shop would have been easier than all the study etc?

Well done!!! You must be so happy!!!
From a fellow educator - WELL DONE.
The hard work starts now - the past few years will seem easy in comparison!

:lol: I completed my Certificate in Education PCE (Post Compulsory Education) which basically means I am now qualified to teach whatever I like to learners over the age of 16 (which is when compulsory education finishes over here). It's not part of government legislation yet that adult education teachers need to be qualified teachers, but it's on the way...

No, I'll still be doing it part time at the moment, over the course of a whole weekend once a month, but it'll mean that once the kids are at school full time I could get a job in an FE college teaching, if I wanted to...

FE = Further Education
There's only so much you can learn from an online course, the way we teach, you have to do it and have it done to you too...

And how much marking... and how many students ringing me up and saying, "Claire... I don't get ******.... Can you go through it again...?"... and students saying "Claire... I'm having a crisis... I don't think I'm good enough... can I spend the next two hours of your life talking to you about how crap I am so you can try to convince me I'm not...?" (or words to that effect)...
On second thoughts, I reckon I'll stay with the ordinary face to face teaching...

This is me shaking hands with the second-from-top-nob at De Montford University, or the Pro-Vice Chancellor as he's otherwise known... I assume they have an Amateur-Vice Chancellor somewhere...

This one's the official graduation portrait, or at least it will be when I order it and get rid of the 'proof' written all over it...
