Fortunately it's not a habit ... this cat had a cold at the time. I was vaguely waking up as it trundled up to my face. I woke up pretty damn quick a couple of seconds later!

The same cat does have other techniques of waking us up, like opening wardrobe doors or pushing things over so they land noisily on the floor. Fortunately we don't have any baseball bats around :lol:

I had a cat once that escaped late at night and went into my non-cat-owning next door neighbour's house... and fell off his headboard in the middle of the night, landing on my neighbour's head...

I often thought if would be bad enough to have a cat fall on your head when you know you have one...
