Interesting people only join this forum to voice their opinion when Meat's health is bad and not when it's good. Or maybe it's just because it's Jim's birthday. ;-)

On a side note, is anyone else pretty gutted reading this stuff? I keep getting cold shivvers the more I read. :( How depressingly sad am i!
I've been getting the cold shivers too, along with a couple of posts making me feel very emotional. Glad it's not just me.
Just out of interest, is the .net forum still down?

I'm assuming the .net forums are down to try to avoid many pages of people posting negative bullsh*t and wild speculation. This has happened with other artists messageboards in the past when something big has happened. I daresay they will be back up again when official news is up and people have had a chance to calm down.
I could be wrong though.
edit: sorry, off topic, will shut up now.

Maybe he just doesn't want to read any comments on his official site, given the way he is feeling.
Whether they be full on praise like "Meat, ignore the negative posts, we know you're brilliant etc"
or "Last night was terrible and I demand my money back etc"

Yes, you are wrong. The latest word is that it is a major technical problem that occurred at a very bad time. Meat himself was on late last night (3AM+ UK time), trying to post, and wasn't able to. As such, I don't think he was responsible for pulling down a site he was trying so hard to use, do you??

I did NOT say that Meat himself was responsible for the site going down.
I simply thought that the site may have been temporarily taken down to allow people to calm down instead of posting angry, rude and inflammatory responses to yesterday's events, as has happened before with other artist's forums/messageboards.

Normally, I'd agree with you. But with Meat trying so hard to post - I hope they didn't decide to do it while he was there trying so hard. Once it is back up, we will have more of an idea as to what went wrong.

.net forum was back about 20 min. ago. I was just in the process of posting my get well wishes to Meat when it said it couldn't post my message ( I was about the 5th one to post on the thread) and then the forum vanished again.....it wasn't my fault, honest!!!! :)

Hope it comes on soon and poor Meat. I guess when Virginia said Meat was on at 3am trying to post, he could of been trying to get a message acros saying sorry etc.....
I hope he's fine and I'd hate that to be the last one, hope he does continue
