That when i press the posts since last visit tab, i sometimes get a message saying there are (for example) 5 unread posts, but then when i go search for them it says there have been no new posts???

i have the same problem for a few weeks now...i can only assume that the frontpage is showing posts which have been deleted by the poster

i get that too, and assumed it was posts on a delay.. appearing in a thread i've already been on

It happens a lot to me, the easiest way to get it back to zero is to log out and log back in again!!

That's difficult to say. Unread posts aren't necessarily new posts.

Anyway, The recent change from CEST to CET may be one of the reasons for a wrong "New Posts" display. Make sure the forum time is correct for and if not, change the timezone in your profile. Additionally, you can try to mark all forums as read (http://www.mlukfc.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?do=markread) and if that doesn't help, either logout/login or simply delete the mlukfc.com cookie stored by your webbrowser.
