Rare Songs: Piece Of The Action (Extended Version)

The extended version of this very amazing song is a bit better than the shorter album version. It begins with a great guitar driven intro and after that, the calm piano enters the song. It's the same piano like in the album version. And there's a second thing, which is different. The wonderful sounding drums in the background during the first verse. I don't know where this version of "Piece Of The Action" formerly appeared, because this song wasn't realeased as a single as far as I know. So it could be that this version is an unreleased track. After all, this song is a killer.

This was released on the '85 12" single for Piece of the Action, which is one of my favorite songs on the Bad Attitude album. For the single some additional recordings were made, bringing in John Golden on bass.
The intro is a nice addition, and the keyboards give the song a progressive / symphonic touch. Not bad at all.
