Another great story from The Metro paper  !!

So is this Bigfoot ?

BY JO STEEL

FOR years, it has enjoyed the same mythical status as the Loch Ness Monster - but now one of nature's greatest mysteries could be solved.
Two hunters claim to have found Bigfoot - and have the body stored in their freezer.
Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer say they discovered the ape-like animal in the woods of northern Georgia, in the southern US.
They plan to present 'DNA and photo evidence of the creature' at a press conference today.
One picture of the supposed beast in it's new subzero home has already caused a sensation on the internet.
The hunters say the male Bigfoot is atleast 2.13m (7ft) tall, weighs more than 222kg (35st). has red hair and grey-black eyes. A video filmed by the pair showed 'at least three others' and attempts are being made to capture one.
Sceptics are doubtful, especially as the pair won't show the body; but one expert is convinced. "They showed me the body, I touched it. They're credible guys,' said Tom Biscardi. His searchingforbigfoot.com site crashed yesterday as thousands tried to view pictures of it.

Yes, we have DNA evidence...we just don't know what to compare it to...does it match another Big Foot we found??? LOL...

We've been cracking up over this for days now...

Republicans and NRA members are more or less the same crowd...

But was is the best in this story...please don't miss the best part...that these dolts have DNA of a Big Foot...and they will now know for sure...how??? By comparing it to WHAT??? That's the best about this story and what makes it truly funny...

Someone always has to find flaws in these theories

Perhaps they will compare it to the DNA of the other Bigfoots (is that correct plural??) once they have captured one...

Perhaps to keep as a pet to 'outdo' the Joneses. Maybe the Joneses have a pet Woolley Mammoth.

Yes, that's the idea...they will compare it to the DNA of the other Big Feets(???)

In any event...since the name of the thread poses the question...I should answer it I guess...yes, it is Big Foot...

Why? Because I said so...

Why? Because I said so...

Actually...because there is DNA & photographic evidence to prove it. so nerr.

Well, that is EXACTLY what I've based my scientific conclusion on!

I would say (and I am) that the DNA is to prove that it isn't the same species as an existing creature, say a gorilla or a bear or a Bulgarian female shotputter for example, but that it's an entirely new species.
