The Flying Mouse

 I was with my brother, John (who is a taxi driver) last night, and he told me this story.
Recently, he had a woman in his taxi, and they engaged in the usual taxi driver - passenger chit chat.
The subject of music come up, which led to the subject of Meat Loaf.
Turns out this woman is a room cleaner in a hotel in the city center, and during filming The 51st State, Meat Loaf was one of the guests she cleaned for.
She got to be quite friendly with Meat, chatting to him whenever they bumped into each other.
One day Meat told her he wanted to play a song for her that was going to be on his next album (time wise, i'm guessing this was a song from CHSIB) but was as yet unreleased.
Meat played her the song and then asked her what she thought.
Apologetically, the maid confessed that she didn't like it
Meat was cool with that, telling her as long as she was honest.
In conversation he then asked her which artists she liked.
She told Meat that she is a massive Bon Jovi fan, and that she had traveled far and wide to see him dozens of times.
A few days later she goes in Meat's room to clean and Meat is in his room on the phone.
He beckoned her into the room and told her to say hello to the guy on the phone.
She said hello down the phone and asked who she was talking to.
She got the shock of her life when a voice replied "hi, this is Jon Bon Jovi" :faint:
Meat had got in touch with Jon before hand and told him the maid was a really big fan, and Meat set it up to be on the phone to Jon when the maid came into the room.
She chatted to Jon for a while, and he told her that he was coming to England on tour soon, and that he wanted to send her free tickets and backstage passes so she could go and meet him.
Good to his word, Jon sent the tickets and the passes, and when she went backstage to meet him, he presented her with a framed gold Bon Jovi disc.
She was thrilled meeting Jon, and very grateful to Meat for putting it all together and making it happen.
She told John she still has the disc and wouldn't part with it for the world.
See, Meat can even make other fans Rock & Roll Dreams come through 8)
