 I have my suspicions that it's a fan made vid.

Info from the youtube page.....

The track "Tonight Is Right for Love" from "Chef Aid...
The track "Tonight Is Right for Love" from "Chef Aid: The South Park Album", featuring Chef and Meat Loaf. Voiced by the late Isaac Hayes and Meat Loaf, animated by Stanley Trent.

The guy who posted it goes by the name of stantrent.
Looking for info on Stan Trent, but getting a bit tired now because I haven't been to bed yet :wtf:

I see 3 possibilities.

Stanley Trent is a former animator for South Prk, and has uploaded the vid himself.

"stantrent" is a fan of Stanley Trent, a former animator for South Park, and uses his name as his youtube user name and has uploaded the vid.

Stanley Trent is a South Park fan who's made a vid to go with the song just for fun and has posted it.

Which one, who knows?

According to his myspace profile: "South Park video fan art animated by Stan Trent."

I think I've seen the scene with Chef and the pianoplayer in that club once, but without Meat. Chef looks horribly pixelated though.

For crying out loud

looks like a fanvid to me, but a good one. The animation looks nearly perfect. The only thing that makes me think it's not a proper video is that both characters barely move. If the clip had been done by Matt & Trey they would have had Meat rolling and jumping around on stage (especially with the lyrics, which they wrote themselves as well).

Although Meat and Chef sang on the Chef Aid soundtrack it wasn't featured in the Chef Aid 'film', Meat's only part in that is him talking to the children and agreeing to take part in the concert...so on that basis I'd definitely say it's from a fan, but still really very good

( For the record I don't know a lot about South Park  The only reason I remember teh details of Chef Aid is because I was watching it when I got the call to say my first M&G had been cancelled, so it's engraved on my memory! )

I did, yes. I heard something about it awhile ago. I was thinking the song is featured on the DVD release since they cut TV broadcasts.

Not 100% sure

they cut the tv broadcasts?

They do that to everything.

Its called the syndication cuts. Cutting things to fit the time slot. More commercials nowadays than in 1995.

Real tragedy.

They cut Humpty Dumpty from the ABC Family cut of Rudolph's Shiny New Year :(

Never watch Simpsons in syndication For the Love of God!

I'm majoring in Media Engineering, so i know a thing or two ;)
