It aired on a PBS series called "On Tour". I saw this episode. It was filmed in Germany during the 1996 tour.

Acording to the two screens behind, it could be the bat II tour.
Patty has a very long hair, maybe you could investigate in this way.

I have never seen this before, but I'd say it was the Bat II: Back Into Hell World Tour, or possibly Everything Louder Tour, possibly because Pearl is part of the band which suggests it was probably 1996 mabe.
Love it though and as alway Patti rocks and I love the red dress .

two things come from that performance...he used the screens for the wttn tour, so i would guess 1996, 1997 at the latest.
Point 2) Like I needed a reminder but Patti Russo is and was hot, but then again my liking of Ms Russo has lasted for the last 15 years, ever since watchig the History of Meat Loaf Live

It's hard to say. On first glance I it would appear 1996 cause of those mosaic style screens however I remember AFL from 1996 quite vividly from Rotterdam in May; The arrangement did not include the middle instrumental bit (completely skipped - thus even shorter), the screens at the beginning were in complete sync with Meat Loaf singing in the video, which was absolutely amazing to watch, I've never seen screens used to such good effect at any show since then (Meat Loaf or not). One of the best shows ever and well over 3 hours.
Probably from the same year but a different AFL that's for sure.

I'd say 1997 was too late...

Agreed, I thought by '97 he cut his hair

...which would make it the WTTN/Born To Rock tour ;)

Correct. He also did Bat Out Of Hell and Where The Rubber Meets The Road.
Whenever it's from, it's a great clip, I hadn't seen it before.

I have two recordings from different tv stations, and both include AFL.

Correct. Berlin to be specific. Would have to look up the exact date though.

As E.O. already pointed out: AFL, BOOH and Rubber
Could it be from the Prince's Trust?
Nope. Only song recorded for the Price's Trust was Lemon from Sheffield 94. (although it's quite a tough one, as the introduction, which aired before Lemon, was clearly spoken over the intro for Heaven can wait.)

So this begs the question of whether the full concert was recorded or not? Where The Rubber Meets The Road is a strange choice instead of I'd Lie For You, which was the big hit at the time.

Still love Steve and Pat!
