Such sad news, he has died at age 88, he's most famous for Art Attack and creating Morph.
I remember watching him when I was younger.

This is sad, grew up with his programmes. A real star.
He didn't create Morph (or Chas) but the company doing them got their first break on his program.
And now for the gallery....

Where do you get your information from? It's Hart not Heart, he died at age 83 not 88, he had nothing to do with Art Attack that was Neil Buchanan and he never created Morph, Peter Lord did.
It is sad news though and I didn't realise until just now that he was the creator of the original Blue Peter badge.

It's a sad loss. I can't remember the name of it, but a program with Tony Hart in the 80s was one of my favourite things to watch back then. I also had a book called "Make it with Hart" - which for a child interested in anything involving painting / drawing / glueing, was an awesome book!
I just read on wiki that
On 28 December 2006, it was announced during It Started with Swap Shop that Hart was in poor health, though this was not elaborated upon until an interview with The Times published on 30 September, 2008, revealing that two strokes had robbed him of the use of his hands and left him unable to draw. He described this as "the greatest cross I have to bear".
Hart died peacefully on the morning of 18 January 2009 at the age of 83

I'm not a New Zealander, I just live there, I'm actually British. However, Bush has screwed things up so badly that its affected the whole planet and the whole planet has the right to rejoice when he finally leaves.
