First post and you're talking about 'virtual money' looks like a scam to me.

Cleverly done, what he's done is to set it so that if you join and you do win he also gets the swag bucks, the site's set that up to get people to introduce more people. There's a few of us already registered and collecting them, he's just joined MLUKFC to try to collect the bucks, I'd have thought more of him if he'd been honest and not done it underhand.

Here's the link for those interested in not being used lol

Or (as an afterthought) if you wanna join and I'll also be matched with your first 100 swagbucks click below lol

Well he won't be trying to exploit anyone here again, and won't be gaining any swag bucks via the posted link.

Nice :-)

A quick google on "aaron09 swagbucks" shows 60 results, and it looks like he's doing the exact same thing everywhere he can think of. Funnily enough, he seems to get banned quite often ...

Dave

Edit1: Woohoo I'm a mega loafer

Edit2: A google on "aaron09 banned" has 663,000 results ...

Sadly Search With Meat Loaf is only for US residents. I found this out when I won a prize which was to go to NY and see Meat in one of the site's earlier competitions... Of course I was excited but that suddenly dropped when I found out you could only claim your prize if you lived in the US!

So now I dont bother with the site tbh...

And the reason you didn't just move there is?????

Collecting points for something redeemable by post isn't a problem, don't matter where you live.

To be clear...you register with Search With Meat Loaf, and every time you use their search engine the way you'd use Google you get points, and once you reach a certain number of points you get a prize?

AndyK
13 Feb 2009, 12:24
Not quite ... everytime you use the search engine there you stand a chance of getting points.

So I could search something ten times and I might only get points twice? Which I guess stops people just hammering the search engine to rack up points...

AndyK

Exactly. From what I remember of using it you'd be lucky to only get points once that time.

So, I guess the only real chance of winning is to spam every forum you can find with your referral link? Sounds like a plan .....

from when i remember this coming up in another thread and my downloading of the search engine, it seemed like the first search you did worked and gave you 5 swagbucks after that nothing.
