I can't see the RIP Jade Goody thread, mind you my eyesight isn't what it used to be. Thought that someone might have seen her contribution to society worthwhile enough.

Anyway, Michael Parkinson (Parky) has chimed up with his opinion that she came to represent "all that's paltry and wretched about Britain" and that she also was "the perfect victim of our times", veering from a media hate figure to a tabloid saint in a matter of months.

I tend to agree with Parky, the tabloid are so fickle they can hate someone one day and love them the next just to sell a few more papers. But more importantly, she did represent all that's paltry and wretched about Britain, but she made her millions being that way.

By the way Parky is from Yorkshire

probably next to the thread... pud thought it was all a publicity stunt, with a miracle recovery just around the corner... or is your memory getting like your eyesight??

No my memory isn't going, I'm glad to see I was proven wrong, which is something I said I hoped I would be.

The thread is possibly in the bin, because no one really wants to say bad things about the dead.
