I was speaking with Joe and he has told me to spread the word about Lafee. You may of already heard about her in John's recent blog post but your hearing about it again here lol...
"Her crew were amazing and herself, she's an absolute doll. It is such an honour, and you can quote me on that!"

To be honest I thought she was completely upstaged by her support act...
If I was 12 years old or not able to understand German, I'd maybe be a fan of her... :))

Not sure if Meat Loaf is actually so much of a better name...
Sorry but La Fee absolutely horrible.
Terrible singer, and even worse lyrics!
I can´t stand her at all... and what´s with the stupid scribble on her face???

Yeah I have to agree with Betty, many names will sound stupid if you translate them. If you took the literal translation of Meatgirl into Dutch for exmaple I reckon some of the Dutchies will be laughing... "gehaktmeisje" or German: "Fleischmädchen". ;-)

For literal translations, the best one I can think of is the Japanese (I think) version of "Two Outta Three" which has a large "33%" on the cover. That's one ML item I'd really like to own :-)
Dunno if it's true or not, but ages ago the "Come Alive With Pepsi" slogan was allegedly translated into some language or other as "Bring Your Ancestors Back From The Dead With Pepsi". Wonder what happened to that advertising exec ...
