 It isn't a hard illusion to fake, given the patience to do it.

Real guy jumps down the slide.
You might notice that there is a dip where, just for a couple of seconds, the slider is out of sight.
At this point the slider stops and a dummy is propelled forward (think man being fired out of a cannon for example) into the pool.
The dummy splashes down in the paddling pool, and the dude who has been there all along stands up to receive his applause.
It might take time, practice, a hell of a lot of working out, and more than one or two goes to get it perfect, but it's the most likely explaination.

Naah, thatīs unlikely.
See how he tries to balance is body while he flies and how he pulls up his legs and arms to his body just shortly before he lands in the pool.
Also, if you look closely there is a dummy lying around near the scaffolding.
NO FAKE imo :D
And an amazing video!!

Yeah the arms and legs flailing is a bit of a giveaway that it isn't a dummy. The guy would have to stop suddenly in the dip and they'd have to propel the dummy somehow, anyone spot a cannon or a large catapult?. And obviously they're going to use a dummy for their practice runs, to get their calculations right. You can also hear the dude sliding down and the noise i consitent all the way through, you'd hear a cannon being fired.
I thought the video on you tube was good from lisa01
I think it's a fake as well...what got me thinking about it is...when the guy goes down the waterslide...he kinda disappears for a few moments...video looks chopped up and patched up...dunno...just my opinion...
I do think it's one guy going down the waterslide and the other guy goes into the water or something like this...
This video was mentioned in today's London Metro newspaper - it doesn't take long for hair-brained video's to make the circuit these days!
