i saw according to hmv.co.uk, another best of meat loaf cd, that was released there on monday 19th. They don't have an image or track listing yet but it isnt the heaven can wait best of cd that was released a month ago, - its seperately listed. Anybody know anything about it??

Its available here in NZ too. I found out about it while going around the music stores asking about CHSIB. One store called it a `budget compilation'.

Picked this up in Woolies a couple of days ago.

Meat Loaf - Heaven Can Wait - The Best of

Bat out of Hell Live
I'd lie for you(and that's the truth)
Midnight at The Lost and FoundLive
Rock and Roll Dreams Come through
Heaven Can Wait Live
Life is a Lemon and I want my money back
All revved up Live
Everything Louder than everything else
A Kiss is a terrible thing to waste
Original Sin
Runnin for the Red Light Live

The quality of recording isn't quite as good as other recordings of the same songs, but as a collector it was a must have for me.

The heaven can wait cd seems to be another best of cd, this one was only released on monday apparently. If you go to the hmv.co.uk they have the heaven can wait one as well as this new one whatever it is. I have the heaven can wait cd, im just wondering what this other one is that was released on monday

Yup, I've got the Heaven Can Wait one too, but I do think I remember seeing another best of listed on the internet but can't remember what the tracklisting was. It seemed to be mostly bat and bat II, ummm, i think there was one track from Neighbourhood, and possibly Modern Girl? But can't remember to be honest I will have another look.

I also saw the Heaven Can Wait album on HMV site released 19th May - I have the previous Heaven Can Wait The Best Of - I have tried several sites to find out the track listing but came up with nothing.......Except I purchased Bat Out Of Hell 25th Anniversary edition......just wondered if any of you have this and your thoughts on it.

yep, i can tell u i got the 25th anniversary Bat Out Of Hell and i can tell you that it kicks serious butt!!! There is a live version of Bat Out Of Hell on the cd which is really and truly the rawest sounding version ever, absolute class (along with the Bolero Intro), seriously unbelievable raw, worth the money just for that. If you haven't seen the DVD that comes with it yet then just wait..... to see all these songs being performed 2o-something years ago is a feeling that can't be beat (sorry for the long reply, just trying to let the people who haven't got it yeat know what they're missin!!!!!)

Yes, it came out in November last year in NZ. It has now been here for some time so the cheapest price has come down about 50% from when it was released. It got to 35 on the album charts here I think.

It is not a lot different than the Hits Out Of Hell DVD or the last re-release of Bat Out Of Hell. The only difference is this one has Dead Ringer on it.

Do you mean that the dvd has got dead ringer on it? or the cd?

Why don't they give out a 'favourites of fans' album?
Here is our favs by base of the votes:

1. Bat Out Of Hell
2. Life Is A Lemon
3. I'd Do Anything For Love
4. Out Of The Frying Pan
5. Heaven Can Wait
6. Paradise By The Dashboard Light
7. For Crying Out Loud
8. Rock And Roll Dreams Come Through
9. Objects In The Rear View Mirror...

It would be 75 mins.
It's not order!

lol, I bought it too, just because it said Meat Loaf on the front :)

What do you think of the artowork? Not the best likeness!

Cause these songs are our favourites after the votes!
I think All Revved Up wouldn't be on a double CD...

I liked the artwork but it certainly wasn't anywhere near a likeness

You can guess the front one is Meat, and is slightly similar, but the inside front cover (although it is quite feint) is surely a random man!
