Thanks Andy & Bubbles :))
thanks for the posts..... it was nice to hear him chat :)
I've clicked...I've searched...I think I'm missing something here. I can't find the audio. Can someone tell me where I can find the broadcast? Is it under an archive or does it have a title I can look up? :/

Thanks for the direct link Roomster ... it was a big help :-)
I just listened to the entire interview and it was great !!
After further review: Did anyone catch that the powers that be suggested Meat singing the new album from start to finish in order? Made me ponder.

Yep ... I caught that too Suzieq.
IMO I honestly don't see Meat doing that for an entire tour ... but maybe they have a few promotional concerts in mind, like the Bases Loaded Tour :??:

I also heard his reaction to the idea .. lol .. plus that they'd rethought it on the grounds of the expense .. Can you imagine the rehearsal time for such a venture? 14 songs they've never showcased together before .. and audiences would still expect some standards, BOOH at the very least! Investing that amount of time for just a few shows would very costly imo, but I couldn't see that as a goer for an entire tour, and I'm not sure Meat did either. He certainly expressed relief when the idea went into doubt :)
I'll be very happy with him perfecting his selection of songs to sing live from the album that will fit within the show he designs .. and still have strength to bring it to all of us :)

I agree with you both Vicki and Caryl, about the performance value and costs. I was thinking over this a bit and looked at it another way as well.
I came up with: the powers that be must really believe in the project as a whole to confidently come up with a big industry changing idea like they had. To me it subliminally said, all of the CD's rich content should be heard live. They probably don't want to eliminate any song from a live performance, because Meat does them so well. (which again, makes me extremely excited for this album's release). I'm sure after the next coffee they had, they woke up and smelled the costs (monitarily and physically) involved. And much to Meat's relief :)
As on other threads, a concert/tour set list can be debated until the cows come home. Can you imagine a Meat concert without BOOH or some other fan faves? The replacement songs would have to be so big...but ya' know what....I have a feeling Meat may have em'.

Yes .. although I'd have been happy to have heard every song from his last two albums :-)

As I listened I could envision him quietly musing on all that would be involved, and gently leaving them to sleep on it .. ;)

Without any doubt .. but Meat understands expectations better than anyone .. and there's something woven into the fabric of a Meat concert (and probably his DNA by now ;) ) that makes BOOH pretty much a sine qua non :-)
