Well I'd love to do that, but I won't have the album yet on 19th April at 9pm. It's not available here till the 23rd, but it goes without saying I love Meat and his music and he will always have my support.

US EST is normally 5 hours behind the UK (currently 4 hours behind). We will have sprung forward to Summer Time in April, so 9pm here will be 4pm US EST. Those in boats on the Atlantic might want to log in at 6pm ;)

I guess it's the kind of thing fans like to do to show their support. You'd expect to see a thread that day anyway with people coming on to say what they think of the album, and Meat will be in the UK that day as he's on the One Show at 7pm. Sometimes people do things just because they're fun and won't hurt anyone ..

I understand the significance of the date but I think it would be better if it was on Saturday or Sunday? Sounds like it's around 4 pm here and about 1 pm on the West Coast...seeing how it's Monday, most Americans would be at work? Would love to join in fun...but...

I think it's all about the first impressions and excitment of finaly getting the album, I know that not everyone will manage to get it on the day , but those who do will want to post about the topic , 9pm is not to early or late for most people and I expect some will be earlier. It's all about the community getting together if possible for a great music celebration. Time zones differ and that does cause problems.
