Okay, I've just gotta ask this.

In the latest issue of Blender Magazine (thank you to Jules, Terry, and of course, David!! :D ) Meat is answering the question about which movies he would rescue from a fire and which he would throw on it. And he just tosses off the thought that the worse time he had (I am assuming he doesn't mean the worst movie--just the time he spent working on it), was during the making of "Leap of Faith" and how miserable he was there.

This is the first I'd heard this story--well, part of the story. Guess I'm looking for the rest of it, if it's out here. Have any of you heard Meat talk about this before and have further information to share?

I was sort of sad to read it. LOF happens to be one of my favorite films--I absolutely love the music (it's what I have in my head when I'm thinking about a Testify video, with an energetic gospel choir--you know what I mean?); I loved Meat it in--the whole cast was terrific...So, you see why I'm curious as to what went on behind-the-scenes to make it so bad for him. Was it the location it was shot in; or having to spend so much time either on the bus or in the tent? Was it personality conflicts between cast members?? So many possibilities...

Meat's comment just caught me off guard and I was wondering if anyone knew anything more about it.

Thanks, friends. :D

Love,

MB,

I was wondering the same thing after I read the Blender article! Something that I read somewhere had said that Leap of Faith was the film that really got him back into acting after some time off. I wonder what the story is behind this?

Hi, Sherrie! Now YOUR comments have made me even MORE curious about this!

Well, maybe sometime, FireBall will happen upon this thread and share another tidbit or two about it.

It never hurts to hope! 8)
