For those of you using an Apple mobile device (iPhone, iPod touch and iPad) ... we have added App support using the Forum Runner - vBulletin Forum reader.

The read only version is free: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/forum-runner-free-vbulletin/id363534651?mt=8

The full featured version can be found here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/forum-runner-vbulletin-phpbb/id362527234?mt=8

Once you have the App running, search for "mlukfc" in the Forum Browser.

Let me know how this works!

Daft thing is there isn't just a simple reply button on there, only way I can see to post is to hit the speech bubble which then quotes the post as well.

Actually, there is. Top right corner next to the thread title: tap and select reply.

Android does not need anything special. Android is Google's OS and has Google Chrome integrated into it as a browser and therefore does not need any special apps to make webpages display and work properly.

R., please don't feel it's necessary to inflict it on the rest of us; if you would like to arrange for it to sound non-stop whenever Mouse logs in, that's fine, but I for one could live without ever hearing it again.....

By the way, technical question, on the normal version of the forum, I tend to hit the new posts button, then once I've viewed a thread and hit the button again, it doesn't show up again... Is there any way of doing that on the i-Pad app? I've figured out that 'curren't is the equivalent of 'new posts', but it still shows viewed threads....

if I'm at home I have no problems viewing or posting using the inbuilt Safari browser, as I access through wifi. I don't see the need to install an app, unless it will be much quicker than regular 3G or Edge mobile internet.

Yes, it does. I wondered about that as well, but it seems to be working as designed. Try to use the blue new posts indicator left to the thread title as a hint ... it helps.

I don't see the need to install an app, unless it will be much quicker than regular 3G or Edge mobile internet. But that's precisely the reason behind this app - it's significantly quicker than access with a regular browser, because it downloads content only. The more bandwidth limited you are, the more you want this app.

Oh ... btw, the app has been updated.

And there's an Android versioon in the pipeline too, which'll save on my monthly bandwidth charges :))

So would I need the full featured version, or would I be able to manage with the free version?

Try the free one first - it works fine for reading the board.

I just did. Seems quick and simple once you get the hang of it. Can't for the life of me figure out how to post though... Unless that's what you mean by 'read only' lol. I'm not the most computer literate person lol

The app has been updated and the good news is that the push (http://www.forumrunner.net/?p=push) notifications are free of charge now. There's more good news for the Android users like Picard below - the Android app is being beta-tested right now and coming soon.

I don't know if you can help with this or not, but I'm having trouble with Forum Runner, I had MLUKFC as a favourite on the home screen, managed to accidentally remove it, and now I can't get it back... When I click the button top right to add to favourites, it says Remove From Favourites, but it's not there to remove! help!!!!

Try reinstalling the app (Delete, then download again).
