what happened last night [Archive]

i couldn't access the site for several hours.....was very disappointed that it would be down on the night of the very first tour......i hope this is not a sign of the way things will be going forward.....

surprised that i can't find an explanation, or am i the only one whining about it?

R. wil lbe able to provide a full explanation I'm sure. But I'd imagine it was a hosting issue, possibly unscheduled maintenance (we usually get warning when there's going to be maintnenace related downtime). Certainly wasn't deliberate.

I'm afraid I can't. I didn't even notice the was some downtime during the night. :zzz:
Probably wasn't the servers - more likely a networking component in front of the them ...

That makes sense. Meatchart.net was also offline at the same time, and it came back online around the same time. Could be a coincidence but it suggests that the problem was larger than just the mlukfc.com server.
