really a great read. something I liked were their in depth look at each song.

I sota disagree with "A slithery guitar riff opens "Life Is A Lemon And I Want My Money Back", the most rock Meat Loaf and Steinman had ever gotten."

Everything louder, IMO, is the most rock Meat and Jim ever got :))

LB&GG is in fact bat 2's FCOL which i never thought about.

Guess Cry to Heaven is Bat 3's FCOL. my god.

But what i do really agree with is Bat 2 surpasses its Predecessor (bat 1) and its Conesessor (bat 3).

Best album ever to grace this earth

Meat Loaf delivers the song with an appropriately strong vocal, clearly inspired to be singing material of this quality after years of questionable choices.

Can't say I agree with this bit, but the rest is pretty much dead on. Bat 2, in my mind, is the best album EVER produced. Nothing will ever compare. The last paragraph pretty much sums up my thoughts on that matter. The original Bat has nothing on Back into Hell.

Guess Cry to Heaven is Bat 3's FCOL. My god.
I don't have anything positive to say about this particular comparison, so I'll remain quiet ^_^

While I love Everything Louder, I agree with the writer- Lemon rocks. Hard.

Now, here I disagree; despite the fact that they are both album closers, I'd say LB&GG is more comparable to Heaven Can Wait, with Objects being the Bat II equivalent of FCOL.

Fantastic album, absolutely. But I'd be hard-pressed to say that Bat II is better than Bat I. I don't know if any album could take the place that Bat I has in my life and my heart.
