Meat is either 51 or 55, 55 being the better believed one, Leslie is 52, so does anyone actually know who's older, but very "lovely people" ... On US Search it says meat's 51 and she's 52, always under the belief he was older....
Meat Loaf is born on September 27, 1947 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Meat's a little younger than his teeth, as old as his knees ... but mainly forever young at heart :)
In interviews on british television recently Meat said quote " my brain thinks it's 18 and my knee thinks it's 51" so if he says he is 51, he is 51. Anyway still a brilliant voice and performer him being 51 or 55, Rock on Meat.
In his book to hell and back he wrote that he was born on the September 27, 1947
In one of the many magasine interviews Meat showed his passport to the interviewer because the age question came up, and the passport says 27th September 1951.

Well, if you ask me, I don't mind how old he is. When I'm once at this age, I only want to be so fit like he is, because he is a phenomenon for me. My father is 47 and I don't think that he would be able to do these things at his age, that Meat is doing. (Hope everybody understands what I mean  )
Greetings Rushour
I'm sticking to 1947 birth year, because that's what the auto-bio says.
I'm 42 and still rockin' I hope I'm staying that way
Meat's young in his heart and that's what counts.

I'm 53 and still rockin' I hope I'm staying that way - all a state of mind not what you necessarily look like, Meat will keep rockin' forever
Remember may your heart always be joyful, and your song may it be sung, and may you stay forever young

True, age means Nothing, therefore irrelevant to me.
Great day to you,

So true!
Age is totally irrelevant, he's still got what it takes and more, thats all that matters!
His age is only relevant on the outside, because the body isn't forever young. That's why he needs to retire in a few years.
But in mind you can stay forever young.

You're so right Michel :)

I am sure meat is 55, his classmates.com profile says so, his biography says so, plus just do thet math with his year of graduation etc. Also I know his childhood friend Billy Slocum is 55, they were in the same class.
In one of the many magasine interviews Meat showed his passport to the interviewer because the age question came up, and the passport says 27th September 1951.
Dick
I remember Meat being on the Big Breakfast show in the UK a couple of years back and showed his passport to the presenter and it said 27 September 1952!

I just don't see meat out on his own at 17,even in the sixties.I also always had the impression that he graduated or was about to graduate before the death of his mom.

Mr Loaf reads this BB right? Well Meat, why don't you set the record straight? We're interested to know when exactly you were born. I see your 27.9.47 and I raise you a 9.6.78 ...

I would take what you read in the book and what you see in the film with a very large pinch of salt
Meat loves to play games and I think the age one is one of his favourites :)
