From an interview on http://www.manchesteronline.co.uk/entertainment/music/
indieandrock/stories/Detail_LinkStory=56420.html

Meat Loaf says:

"I start by putting on the show from the night before. We record every show. I will listen to it and start coming up with little notes for the band. "

If this is true then surely theres loads of unreleased stuff out there that Meat could put together as audio cds or dvds.
Having got more than excited at Meat saying here at mlukfc how he is recording the australian concert for the world to see, it seems such a waste that these shows go unseen especially when no one can put on a performance like Meat does!

Also in the article he mentions a friend being LL Cool J. Having briefly spoke of the duets cd (during UK promo), where LL Cool Js name was mentioned as one of the featured artists, i cant help but wonder if this is going to happen.......

I wonder how he inventories and stores all of those tapes- I mean, just imagine how many concerts he has done in the last 25 years. First off, just having the space to store them would be a tremendous issue. Secondly, they would have to be cataloged in some way for ease of use. Heck, with my library degree and experience in cataloging I see a new career for me! Give me a call ML, we can work this out! Seriously, that is amazing news that they are all recorded. How I would love to relive my first ML concert, back in my (much!) younger days!

That's very interesting. Maybe I and Meat can work something out about soundboard recordings from 1988.

Actually, a lot of bands record every show, for different purposes...

Iron Maiden does it, Pearl Jam does it (even released tons of "official bootlegs" from those recordings), Dream Theater does it, god knows what other bands do it too...

I wouldn't hold my breath for laying my hands on these recordings, as they're mostly made for private use...

Did he say if it was from every show, or recent ones? That would be an amazing box set if ever released :) Something nice like the Led Zeppelin releases of live material.

Fireball, any possibility?

Meat is an unbelievable live performer and for him to have all these performances on tape and unreleased is a real shame, especially when there's a lack of live meat out there eg DVDS etc.
