Same here. :-)

What I think I heard on radio this morning was there's a show of Rockwell's paintings taking place in London at this time.
We have a museum of art here in Philadelphia, PA, USA (where I live). You would know the building if you've ever seen the film, Rocky. It's up the steps of our art museum he runs ! I really need to pay it a visit. I haven't been there in a very long time and I remember reading that if one goes on Sunday mornings by a certain time, the entry fee is whatever one cares to donate, even as low as a dollar, rather than the usual entry fee, which I would have to look up in order to say what it is. I should make a "bucket list" for my hometown...lol ... There is plenty to do, the majority of which I haven't.

I know those stairs very well. When I visited Philly I HAD to run up them just like Rocky did. I believe there is a statue of Rocky at the top of the stairs. Or maybe the Rocky statue is somewhere else. I had to see the statue as well.
Oh yeah, and i do like Norman Rockwell paintings too.
one of my favourites actually. seen my first painting at my family doctor's office. the rest my dad and i have in books!
I especially like the humor in his paintings, for example in Fixing a Flat and Election Day. Had to think of Tired Salesgirl on Christmas Eve recently. There's a lot of truth in his work and many of the situations he painted can be found in our modern everyday life, too.
