Don't watch the video (it's totally non relevant). Instead read the write-up in the box below for a supposed interview with Meat.

Thoughts?

that Meat isn't a fan of this type of TV but know he has to do it to keep in the spotlight...

He said: "I think Steven is one of the great rock vocalists of all time. I have so much respect for him [but] there's just something about me that says, 'I love Steven but I don't want to see him on American Idol. I just don't.'

Now that he's on Celebrity Apprentice everything he's ever said about reality TV and artists who take part in certain "celebrity" shows appears odd.

The singer is hoping his time on Celebrity Apprentice will help him cope with his disappointment over his last single "Peace on Earth" failing to set the charts on fire.

I wonder if this is just something the author implies or if that's really Meat's motivation. I really hope he won't consider spending time in a camera-surveilled container or in a jungle camp eating cockroaches or kangaroo testicles to deal with "disappointment" in case the next single / album won't be a success.

And here was me thinking we only got such silly TV shows here in the UK.

Just like you'll inevitably meet McDonald's and Starbucks when strolling through the city you'll see the same shows on TV, no matter which part of the world you live in. We had The Apprentice over here, too. The show was called Big Boss but failed and was canceled after the first season, as far as I remember - although soccer manager Reiner Calmund was more entertaining than Trump. I'm a celebrity, get me out of here is very popular though.

And Meat was on Idol himself, wasn't he?

and both dancing shows performances... but its different as a guest i reckon, as a guest its about promoting the current product, which doesnt explain bat on the us version.

He said he likes Dancing with the Stars and that he'd like to take part in it (but rejected offers to participate because he allegedly can't dance), if I remember it correctly. He wouldn't do it for publicity but "to find out the thruth about the moment of the dance" or something like that.

well what he said about POE was true, if U2 had done it, it would of been raved about? but thats music for ya!! it must be annoying for some artists.
HCTB is a strong record [ even if its not everyones cup of tea ] but its far better than most the crap around now, yet because he aint 20 years old nobody wants to get behind it?
