He does, i've had a couple of responses from him.

However as you might appreciate, he must get a ton of messages that he can't have the time to respond to.

yes he does. I PMed him a few times and got a few answers.

he confirmed for me dead ringer and california were rehearsed/arranged when I PMed him this past summer before the UK tour started. Making me conclude California is the mystery seventh song. I think I said something that earlier and in the chatroom.

I also pmed him asking If he wanted me to take my top 10 worst meat loaf songs video down, which he said "that would be great. Thanks for asking. I wouldve had that taken down"

he answers sometimes. it depends. try PMing him while hes online. :)

I've PM'd Meat once or twice, but wasn't lucky enough to get a reply. BUT, totally appreciate that his time must be very precious.

Yes, he does answer PM's sometimes. I have never gotten a reply, however I have trusted friends that have gotten answers. I understand, that his time is valuable and that he can't answer all of them. I have sent him PM's that have been returned as undeliverable because his Inbox is full - popular man that he is. It is a hit or miss thing with getting an answer. It never hurts to try though

I sent Meat a PM back in December and I requested a read reciept but never got one to say he'd read it. I'm assuming that he must have had so many PM's around that time that he just went through and deleted some.

It was the first time I'd ever sent him a PM and I don't mind if he chose not to read it I'm not the kind of person who's likely to send him many messages. He is the one member of this forum I'm actually 'proper' scared of and I'm not as comfortable communicating with him as I would be with any other member of this forum.

He is indeed. He posts under the name Fire Ball (and sometimes cowboy).

I couldn't believe it when I first heard that he was a member here and people have asked if it's actually him but apparantely it's been confirmed.

Remember folks, who ever sends the message is irrelevant, the clue is in the titile and a the contents of a private message should remain just that "private", unless the sender gives you permission to share it.

Indeed.
This whole thread is pretty much irrelevant beyond answering "yes".

If Meat doesn't answer you then your question probably sucks or he is too busy or both.

It's just as lame as thinking Meat will sing happy birthday to you when you go to a show. With a show attended by 10.000 people, it will most likely be around 30 people who will be having their birthday there that day. Go figure.

The only thing I hope is that the javascript popup messages have been disabled for his account and he has a mailbox with unlimited size. Both of which I suspect will have been arranged for him.

The same story again and again...
Cannot say anything without a censore?

So, yes he gives answers. Not for stupid questinos and not for happy birthday greetings, but if you ask something relevant, you will get answer. Or if you make him nervous. :)

I'm not really sure how much clearer this particular rule can be!

Fire Ball is him. I was skeptical when I first heard that too. It has been asked and confirmed that it is the man himself. I think it is very cool!

Forgive me if im wrong, but didnt he like confirm he was fire ball at a show in England back during the CHSIB days?

I could've sworn someone said something to that nature.

 If I remember correctly (which is debatable) Meat first confirmed it by announcing to the room at a M&G in Holland that he was Fire Ball.

I sent an email to a radio station when he was being interviewed mentioning his user name, and he joked on air about a guy called Meat Loaf needing a nickname lol.

He more or less told everyone at the signing last year  !!

I went to have my CD and book signed and I said...

"Hi Meat,
I'm MeatGrl1 on the forum."

He didn't hear me the first time and asked me to repete it then he extended his arm and I took his hand and he shook it and goes;

"Hi MeatGrl1 ! Nice to meet you,
I'm Fire Ball !"

Think that's confirmation enough :lmao: !!!!!!!!!!
