Hi everyone,

This is my first post to the forum, have been a fan of Meat Loaf for ages now and always catch him on TV and at the Birmingham NEC (booked for November 10th I think  ).

Quick question, who is Meat Loaf engaged to?

Did anyone else see the Top of the Pops performance and wonder if he has been drinking, reminiscent of the 1981/2 tours? - Expected him to throw a bottle of bubbly into the crowd!!

See you at the NEC!

Hi and welcome to the boards :)

Not sure if there is still a new members thread, this may get moved in the same forum by one of the mods ;)

Don't worry though, they don't bite. Well, not during the day.

Hi people, thanx for taking the time to say hello!

Is Debbie from Hartlepool?! :P

Was talking about the fairly recent TOTP showing with CHSIB and Dead Ringer for Love - have to admit this was a bit of an obscure observation for my first posting!

I have read this forum for a while and seen debates about this very same performance and have to add my bit - I have seen Meat sing good, sing bad and sing somewhere in between and as long as I still get that real excitement when he performs I just dont care. Sure you all know what i mean.

I'm 23 and his energy makes me jealous!

Energy? You want energy?? I must say that I can understand Meat saying that the touring is taking its toll on his body now, but Hey I'm 41 today (looking at clock - yep, 41 now damn it!) and I ain't dead yet matey!! So you better keep moving!!
I saw him at Plymouth last week and gave the kids a run for their money I can tell ya...and I wasn't the only one!!
Oh.....and welcome aboard.
