View Full Version : Plymouth anyone?
Who all here is going to the concert in Plymouth? I know Sue W. is and I'm sure she will report back at her site, anyone else?
Besides the setlist, I have one other burning curiosity...are they still using those cheesy, yellow flipcards during "Tear Me Down"?
I half expect them to say "Pull into the high school parking lot and get your car washed for our fundraiser!" LOL

TBuck,
I LOVE the flipcards- but then again I'm a bit cheesy I fear!

Hi, Shane! Yeah, yellow cards that have words printed on them that get flipped to coincide with the 'talking part' of Tear Me Down.
Patti and Pearl would come to the front of the stage, while a tape played with "On March 6, 1836...", and they would stand there (sort of like the girls do in the middle of 'Boxing Matches'--have you seen that?--) and flip these cards as the words continued. Then when the section ended, they'd go back to their places on the stage, and Meat and the song would pick up again.
Hope that helps! :D

Shane,
during the last tour, when they did the spoken part to "Tear Me Down", the words spoken were on flipcards turned by Patti and Pearl and shown to the audience.

And in Amsterdam, Kasim got to turn the cards for a while too! (They always reminded me of large Post It notes!)

The flip-card-part, didn't go quite 'as planned'. I personally thought it was 'fun' to see how everyone reacted to that! :)
I would like to wish everyone who is going over to Plymouth a wonderfull time. Think they are there by now. I will be thinking about you guys this evening!!!
Can't wait to hear all about it. Hope you all have a great time 'waiting', must be great to talk to eachother before the show!
Have an absolutely FANTASIC day and please could someone tell me if Testify was played?
Anyway, just wanted you to know, I am very happy for you!
Love,
Mariella
Thanks for the explanations.
Have they always used that line that goes something like "He was in Fight Club and had huge tits"? I've only heard one live performance, on the Johnnie Walker radio show (streamed on the net) that had that line.
