I just finished up making a Tinker Bell blanket for Abby. Naturally I want to show it off but I'd also like to see what others do so here's mine and how crafty are you?!

Link should work but if it doesn't let me know and I'll upload to Flickr.
Wow, very nice! Great work on the blanket
All I can make is a peanut butter sandwich

Thanks! I have a feeling Abby likes it,
Nothing wrong with sandwiches ;)
Congrats Tribrats .... I am so not crafty. I buy other people's crafts pretty well though. :)
I'm not crafty in the slightest but my sister is the toal opposite. She loves making cards and doing cross-stitch.
I'd sooner sit in front of a computer and make a desktop wallpaper or something than faff around with all that stuff.
That's a nice blanket though. :D
An amazing result - congratulations. I am truly jealous of your talent & patience.
Of all the crafts I have tried, knitting is one I have yet to master. Giving me a sewing machine any day!
Here's a little bit of what I do...

Can't stand the word "craft" though, really get on my soapbox about that one!

Very nice!
LOL about "craft". Was trying to avoid "sewing" or "hobby" in favor of something that encompassed everything and didn't make the work sound redundant.
What is it about "craft" you don't like? It's definition is to make something by hand.
Andy and I were talking about this earlier and I think actually the term Craft provokes a different response on your side of the pond to ours.
Here in the UK I have my own business designing and making products by hand, so in all of my marketing my work is promoted as Handmade. 'Handmade' implies something unique that's been constructed by hand to a high standard, and you would expect to pay more for something that's been handmade.
The problem with the word 'Craft' in this country is that it sits alongside the term 'homemade' - it implies a hobby, cheap, "can't afford a real one so I'll make my own" product, and people don't spend money on Craft because they feel it's a lesser product that one you'd buy in the shops.
It seems though that in the US there's a much bigger pride in craft and homemade, and the gap between 'handmade' and 'homemade' is much smaller - which is fabulous! Wish it was like that here!!

Ahhh! Yeah, forgot about cultural differences. And Hobby over here implies something you do for your own gratification.
