to tell you the truth for me I realized I had a life. I also watched the unaltered editions of the Star Wars movies In preparation for the new blu Ray releases with horridly altered content.

How about you?

:lurk:

I finished screencapping the MSO DVD for my website.

It's a shame really as I really enjoyed screencapping that one.

Just 5 more days before I get my copy!!!

Let's see what's altered this time (Although I do feel a lot of the alterations are in benefit of the movies)

In an ideal world they'd have cut the three prequels from the saga ...

but no they've enhanced the 3 original films more than anything, includig an awful scream from vader at the end of Ep VI that parallels the scream he gives out at the end of Ep III, and some random rocks in Ep IV that R2D2 hides behind which then miracoulsly disappear when the Jawas zap him...

Yup, that's the problem with Lucas. He doesn't know when to stop. As mentioned before I do enjoy quite a lot of the changes. Mainly sfx sequences. What kinda annoys me is the pink glow on Vader's saber. There is a fan edit on the web that has the best color balance (and other fixes) of any SW movie. Lucas should have hired those guys!

But before this derailes into a Star Wars topic, ehm I worked on my website updates yesterday

Briefly had a life :)

Also, I like most of the changes to Star Wars. I can't help thinking the unaltered originals would look horribly dated by now without them. Even the extra No actually worked quite well in context. He still stays silent a LONG time.
