Did anybody see the TV Show Bo Selecta last night? - Meat was being interviewed by the 'Celebrity Super Fan' Avid Merrion.
Avid met Meat Backstage at PITP.
Its quite hard to say what happened as Avid is a little strange but they 'sang' the interview to each other.
If you missed it and you live in the uk then don't worry as it is repeated on E4 this comming thursday

I saw it! That was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. Has to be seen to be believed! 8) :lol:

I'll take a look at the repeat.
I tuned by total accident toward the end and caught the last few minutes, I didn't know Meat was going to be on.
It was very funny :lol:
Meat looked great ( as always!)
Could have kicked myself when I realised I'd missed most of it.
Thanks Regengade for the info, will tune in on E4 Thursday. I've just seen the TV listings and it's on at 10pm.
Too bad i can't see it, sounds very funny.

I was really impressed with the way Meat handled the situation cos if you've ever seen Bo Selecta before you'll know that the celebs get ripped to bits, but I think that even Avid was happy the way Meat responded to the interview.
The look on Avids face when Meat went off on one was dead funny.
Luckily I was on the chatroom at the time and Original Sin pointed it out...had to run to my bedroom to see it but caught the last few minutes. Very funny, I screamed with laughter when Meat went off on one. I don't have E4 but hopefully will persuade one of my friends to tape it for me. Thanks for letting us know when the repeat is, looking forward to seeing the whole interview!
Shall have to speak nicely to me dad to get him to tape it for me as i dont have E4 - but i know he will... :D

8O Cathie that was the whole thing! it was only a few minutes......but oh so very funny.
I cant stand the actual programme I just couldn't be bothered to change the chanel. Glad I left it on now :wink:

Yes, I hate it too, you should have seen my friend's face when I asked if she could tape the repeat for me!! Bless her, she's always taping Meat Loaf things off Sky for me.

I can't believe that hardly any of you lot like Bo Selecta! - it's one of the funniest things on TV - OK its a bit mad but thats what so funny about it.

I saw it and thought it was superb!! I couldnt stop laughing at Avid's face when Meat went off on one! Normally he scares the hell out of people but this time it was the other way round!!
And a big well done to Meat for responding so well, in total contrast to Atomic Kitten who were disgraceful. When you watch the repeat look around at the people nearby - they loved it!
Just goes to show again that the big man is a legend. Shame the PITP organisers can't see it.
damn n e 1 know where i cud get some clips of this n n e other meatloaf t.v stuff??

I saw it last night on E4 and it was brilliant:

Was it scripted or did Meat Loaf just improvise?
I think it was improvised - but what a laugh!!!
Do you remember him saying he wanted to sell all the bra's he'd collected (including mine!!!) on his last tour, on ebay?

AVID - It was Lisa Tarbuck, she hit me then the Sara Cox she hit me.
