Who Else absolutely Loves this team of people? I do!
I really do. I long hope for a music get together of these guy's! I also would liek to see them record a couple of songs and may be just one song?
I liked bat 1 and bat 2 bat three was okay. Just okay though.

I'd like to hear what it is that makes these 2 music so special because when meat sings a steinman song it's truely magical. Something special happens.

I don't know if they will ever team up again. I do like hearing meat's new stuff that's really good and hell in a handbasket is just pure genius!
However I'd be really happy if an album or songs were recorded together again.

Anyone think this will happen?
I hope you don't mind me asing. I just wanted to ask it.
I like meat and Jim so much! and all their music its' rock n roll opera at its best!:-P

Oh! Happy Christmas! to all my friends here. Hi to all of you too.

There's always something magic, there's always something new!

As amazing as a duo they are, I don't see them ever working together again. Even though Meat is apparently open to working with Jim again, Jim has pretty much unofficially retired by the looks of things. If his Bat Musical ever sees the light of day, I'll eat my metaphorical hat.

With that said though, I could very easily see a couple of songs such as What Part of My Body, Still the Children and Braver Than We Are ending up on a Greatest Hits album to round off Meat's career. Sort of like how Is Nothing Sacred, Home By Now and A Kiss is a Terrible Thing to Waste ended up on The Very Best of Meat Loaf album. All it would take is for Jim to take the tracks he most likely finished five years ago that are currently rotting in a vault somewhere for no reason whatsoever from the Dream Engine album, pass them over to Meat Loaf, then have Meat record his own vocals over the top...

I'm with you. I'd love to hear more, even if I don't see it happening :P

I am going to die a very unhappy Mr. Happy if Meat never records these three songs

IMO, a very touchy subject. Too touchy for me to comment on other than to thank Mr. Happy for the links. ;)

ALL of these songs should have been on bat3.......!!!
Instead we got that bollocks which even Meat denies. Unfortunately we will never see Meat's version of these songs. They would have done a grandious bat3. This songs are those which I connect to Meat.

I have listened to the TDE recordings from the Mohegan Sun Casino the most time in the last 4 years when I was listening something from Jim (even more than Bat1 & Bat2). It is also a awful shame that never the promised CD from TDE was made...:roll:

I can everyone recommend these recordings.

I think that summarises it perfectly for me.

I have the albums Meat did with Jim, and they're great. But I love even more the new direction Meat has taken and harbour no desire for him to go back. I agree with the statement that HIAH is pure genius (just as I think HCTB is). That's plenty of magic for me :-)
