Any members who are not signed up but wish to do so,please PM me and i'll be more than happy to add you're name to the list.
You can also PM me to unsubscribe from this list at any time.
PLEASE REMEMBER.
In order for the card to get around the membership as quickly as possible and with the minimum of trouble or risk of loss.......
1.Please make sure you have sent via PM you're full postal address with post code to the member who signed the card before you (see list for details).
2.To send the card first class mail to the next member on the list as soon as possible from a post office counter to ensure that the correct amount of postage is paid.
3.Please write you're own address as sender on the back of the paper/envelope you wrap the card in.If for some reason the card does not reach it's destination,it will still go back to you for re-postage.

Following a request made by myself,David M. Driskell has agreed to be the last person to sign the card regardless of whoever else signs up.
We are still taking names for the list if anyone wants to join in (feel free to PM me),this just means that David's name will always be kept untill last.
Not that I inticipate any problems :wink: ,but as these are MLUKFC cards,it is only fitting that a member of staff should give it the once over before it is sent to Meat.

Dear all,
I would like to make an apology, I still have the card with me.
Unfortunately my girlfriends mother was recently taken very ill with a heart condition and everything has kind of been thrown upside down. I have hardly managed to get home at all at the moment, let alone on the internet (hense my lack of posts!). However I am very sorry I was unable to contact anybody to let you know that I hadn't forwarded the card on.
I now have Chris' address, and will get to the post office first thing tomorrow, sending registered :)
Once again my apologese. She is recovering now, and has just been let out of hospital, hopefully everything will go ok. I hope to be regularly filling the board with rubbish again soon!

As it's a hand signed card,it is neccersary for you to receive it.
Again,the only thing I can think of to help you out is to ask you're news agent (or any other local shop that knows you) if they would be willing to accept a piece of mail for you.
That way you will be able to sign the card without giving you're address to anyone :idea: .

Perhaps you could write your message and name on a piece of paper, and send it to a person who has the card so they can attach it. It might have to be quite small. You'd have to ask the people in charge of this.
Any idea where the card is at the moment??? Time is getting short 8O

The card you will be signing is the card that is doing the rounds in the UK at the moment.
These are not seperate cards for seperate countries,it is one international card :wink: .
As you have heard nothing,I assume that you have not passed/received you're contacts addresses yet.
Vickip will sign the card directly before you.Please PM her with you're full postal address.
David M. Driskell will sign it directly after you.Please PM him requesting his address.
I am worried that the card isn't getting round as fast as it should.PLEASE everyone,sign and send it as soon as it arrives.
We have aprox 17 members to sign in 30 days.Considering the ammount of countries it has to go to,we're really cutting it fine to get it to Meat in time for his birthday :? .
Obviously,we can't take any more names for this birthday card,but if you wish to sign up to the standing order in time for the Christmas card,get you're names in as soon as you can.

Meat's Xmas card was posted yesterday special delivery so should have reached Heat today.
PLEASE.Keep delays to an absoloute minimum.Like the birthday card,This card has got 3 months to get around the membership.If everybody passes it on within a reasonable time it will reach Meat in plenty of time for Xmas 8) .
If not,for god's sake someone cross out Christmas on the front of the card and write Easter instead and we'll call it a day for these cards :? .

Hopefully Meat will let us know.
It's a shame that there have been delays with the birthday card :( .But the Xmas card is off to a great start :D .If it keeps going at this rate there will be no problems getting it to everybody with plenty of time to spare for it to get to Meat :D .

Well, I now know it takes 7 days before a card gets from Holland to Germany, even with priority-sticker. All I can do is send it the same day I receive it. Is it still ok for me to participate? I wouldn't want to delay things of course. :?

Had a card through the door today to say that Royal Mail couldn't deliver the Recorded Delivery Package. (I was out and they wouldn't leave it without a signature) I presume it is the Christmas card. I will pick it up tomorrow morning and if it is will post it tomorrow to Rosie.

Any card that reaches the end of the line will be passed on to Meat.
Unfortunatly no card has yet made it all the way 8O .
I don't know weather to :lol: or :cry: .
I am still hopeful that the xmas card will get to Meat, but I very much doubt that it will be on time :? .
I've made a decision on this.I'm gonna give the cards one last go.I've said that before, but I don't want to give up before i'm sure that this is a pointless excersize.I want everyone to have the oportunity to be included in this.
There have been problems in some cases with the post, and nobody on the forums can be blamed for that.But I have noticed that there have been times when the card has been held up for an unacceptable ammount of time by people who just can't be bothered putting the effort in.
I'm not pointing fingers, i'm not playing the blame game, but if anybody feels that they cannot pass the card on within a reasonable time, send me a PM and i'll delete your name from the list.
To hold the card up is very unfair to the vast majority of people who genuinly do their best to try and make this work.I can start the card, I can post reminders for everyone to pass it on, but I can't come round to your house and post it for you.
It's time to shape up, or ship out.
Anybody who is not on the list but would like to be included in this (perhaps last) attempt, send me a PM around xmas time and i'll be more than happy to add your name to the list.
As always, plenty of time will be given for the card to get round.
Rant over.
I don't like ranting, so before I finish I would like to say thank you very much to the vast magority of people involved who have gone out of their way to get the card around.I hope that things will work better and these cards will be able to continue.

As you can imagine, there was not a great selection of xmas cards at the time of year I sent it :lol: so I basically got the biggest one I could :wink:
I think the best solution would be for Guppie to post the card back to me (i'll PM you my address in a min Gup) after she has signed it and i'll get it to Meat, and if Eva can get a card and carry on the chain until it gets to Meat.
It means that Meat will get two cards, but I don't think he'll mind :wink:
Not an ideal solution by any means, but it's the best thing I can think of right now :?
P.S. I'll be buying Meat's xmas card this December to make sure I can get one big enough for all the signatures :wink:

I think the best solution would be for Guppie to post the card back to me (i'll PM you my address in a min Gup) after she has signed it and i'll get it to Meat, and if Eva can get a card and carry on the chain until it gets to Meat.
It means that Meat will get two cards, but I don't think he'll mind :wink:
Not an ideal solution by any means, but it's the best thing I can think of right now :?
P.S. I'll be buying Meat's xmas card this December to make sure I can get one big enough for all the signatures :wink:
I will not get a new card because the time to Christmas is to close...

Sorry I forgot to post the latest news about the card :oops: .Xmas is the time to act like a headless chicken :lol: .
I was hoping that the card would arrive on Saturday, so I could find a way of getting it backstage on Sunday night :up: .
As it turns out, it didn't arrive until xmas eve :( .
I'm making arrangments to get it to Meat, so all being well (insert prayer here) Meat should at least have it in time for new year :D .
Again, apologies for the delay in posting this info.
