Videos: Piece Of The Action

I don't exactly know it, but I believe, that the video to "Piece Of The Action" is only an adaption of Meat's performance of this song from the movie "Formel 1 - Feel The Motion". You can see Meat and his Band singing at a dirty and ugly backyard in a kind of ghetto. Nothing more. But it suits both, the video and the song, because the lyrics is about poor working people, who don't earn enough money. But Meat, you could do a better video to this song, because after all, it's only a performance in front of a background and it hasn't got any acting or story.

I am not totally convinced that you are correct Garrett

I have a two minute clip (incomplete) of what I thought was the Piece Of The Action promo video. Part way through "Whistle Test" appears as a banner on the screen so I assumed it appeared on the "Old Grey Whistle Test" TV programme in the UK

Interdispersed with a live Meat performance are short clips of people going about their (mundane?) daily lives e.g. a traffic warden. a fruit seller on a market and a group of punks walking along the street.

The live performance clips of Meat are very similar to the Bad Attitude 85 video but it may well be that an on stage performance was done without an audience at the same venue for video purposes as Meat does not appear to be sweaty as on the released video. Some clips of this performance were then perhaps edited together with some clips from the released video to make the live performance part of the promo video?

But who knows? I don't know for sure either!

It looks like I've seen the video of Meat's performance of this song from the "Formel 1" movie. So maybe it wasn't the promo video. If there exists another video to "Piece Of The Action" with scenes you described, I've never seen it.

Hey Vickip! You should be the only one, who knows the truth. By the way: Where is a clip of "Piece" on your site? I can't recognise it there.
