Make sure your leg is 100% before embarking on a strenuous tour. There is no problem from me if you wish to delay everything for a wee while. Say, two weeks to make sure your knee is ticketyboo?

Egads! When I had my knee operation, the specialist told me, "oh yeah, one in four people will have this painful reaction. looks like you're it."
I used to smack people around on the sidewalk with my crutches just for the heck of it when the pain got bad. didn't help the pain in my knee though and luckily nobody ever sued me.
sure hope physio can give you some modicum of relief.

I'm sure you have turned a corner .. there will be the odd rock and rabbit hole along the path (that's been your path all the way), but it will get easier, and you'll be back to kicking the rocks out of the way, and jumping the rabbit holes ;)
