Hello my name is Stacey Natynczyk, I'm 27 years old from a small town called Keighley West Yorkshire, in England. I have been a Meat Loaf fan since I was a little girl. The first time I ever heard of Meat was back in 1993, when he just released I'd Do Anything For Love. I remember sitting in my living from when Top Of The Pops was on BBC 1, at the time has I'm so into music even at so young, I watched that programme all the time. And this one Friday I was watching Top Of The Pops, and I heard this awesome sound like the sound of a motorbike, and I turned round, and the beginning of I Would Of Anything For Love video was on. And instantly I was hooked on that video and that song. I thought wow, so straight away, I shouted to my mum and dad, that they have to get me that song. The following week Meat was on Top Of The Pops, singing I'd Would Do Anything For Love live on the show, and I just fell in love with him. I was so happy when my dad surprised me and bought me Bat Out Of Hell II, I played the whole album, and I just couldn't get enough, so I just put it on repeat, and played it about seven times or more. I loved it. It's still to this day my favourite album of Meats, because of the reason I grew up listening to that album, and was the first time I heard of Meat Loaf, so it's very special to me. My mum surprised me with Bat Out Of Hell I so I straight away put on to listen and I was so amazed my these to Albums, and this incredible person singing those songs. Then for Christmas my parents bought me my very first Meat Loaf video it was Bat Out Of Hell II, the picture show, or something like that (forgive me if I said that wrong) I loved it so much, I adored the live shows, the music videos, and also I was then I started having a crush on Meat, I thought wow he is a sexy guy. So I did drool a lot over him too. When my friends had posters of Boyzone or Take That or The Spice Girls, I had posters of Meat Loaf everywhere, and I just loved my room. It felt like my room was my own magical world of Meat Loaf, I just sat in there for hours, listening to all his songs and looking at all his pictures, and I thought then. My biggest dream, was to go and see Meat Loaf live, and to meet him in person, and I said to myself it will happen one day, if I just keep praying and wishing, it will come true. Has soon has I was old enough to have my own spending money, I can remember I saved a lot then, and me and my friend went into Leeds shopping. And we headed straight to HMV and find the Meat Loaf section. When I found it there was a whole shelf full of Meats albums and singles. So I went right, I don't have that one, I want that one, so I had this huge pile of CDs in my hands. I went to the checkout, and the cashier scanned them all, and it came to about £100 or more I can't remember the exact. But yes I bought the whole lot, yep you can say I'm a huge fan lol.;) On the same day I bought to Meat Loaf tshirts, DVDs and Meats films, because then I just learned that Meat was an actor too, so I bought loads of his films too. By the time I started working well my Meat Collection was huge, every pay day I bought myself something on Meat, like collecting all the tour programmes, records, posters, CDs DVDs you name it I had the lot. And I still do till this day. I. Started to become a full member of Meats official website meatloaf.net and in 2005 I read that Meat was doing a tour, it was called The Hair Of The Dog Tour, and I found out that Meat was doing a show at Harewood House in Leeds, and I couldn't believe that he was doing a show so close to home, that I had to be there. So I looked on the website, and Meat being the lovely man he his, put these packages and when I read one of them I nearly fell of my chair, it said that you can have a meet and greet with Meat Loaf. I said to myself I had do go, this is my chance to live my dream. So when my dad said to me I will come with you to meet Meat loaf, I cried my eyes out with joy. I couldn't believe I was going to meet my hero at last. When the day came I was excited and nervous at the same time. When we got to Harewood House my heart was beating in my chest so fast I thought it was going to pop out. I still remember that day now has if it was yesterday , I mean how can anyone forget meeting a legand like Meat Loaf, you can't can you. I remember a lady took us backstage, and I so all the crew and staff, I could believe I was here, I was surreal. So let us go on the stage, and we so all of the equipment, and the guitars, and drums everything . And I even stood at the mic, where I new Meat was going to perform, and just smiling to myself. When we went back backstage, and the lady said just stand in this corner for a few minutes so we did. And while we was waiting, a man give me my Meat Loaf Bat II album cover back and told me that Meat has signed that for you. I looked at it and it said, To Stacey hope you have a great day Meat Loaf. And my jaw used dropped. Not only did Meat sign my cover, but I knew my name. Then a few minutes went by, and Patti Russo , CC, Kasim Sulton and Paul Cook, came over to say hello to us, and I kept thinking I'm I dreaming. You wouldn't believe how happy I was. Then after a few more seconds, a man came over and told us to move forward, has we did that he said stop and clap your hands and cheer, and has we did, the great man himself was there right in front of me. I just cried and I was shaking, I couldn't believe Meat Loaf was standing right in front of me. I thought wow he looks amazing. Then it. Was his time to guide us , he took us inside his trailer, where we saw Meats wardrobe , and I saw all of Meats outfits he was going to wear on stage. And I had to just feel one, and I was smiling like a cheshire cat. Then he took us back outside. And that where we had our pictures taken with him. I was first, and he just smiled at me, and put is arm out. By this time I was melting, so here I was my dream has come true and I'm cuddling up to Meat Loaf, we had two photos taken. Then I asked him to sign my tshirt which he happily did. Then I asked him can I have a hug, and he looked at me, just smiled and opened his arms for me, to cuddle him. Oh wow I was in heaven, I didn't want to let go. I tell you Meat is a true gentleman, I've never met such a lovely person, like him. He's wonderful . The show after was incredible, when I heard his songs for real live, I got so emotional, especially when he sang I'd Would To Anything For Love. In 2007 I saw Meat Live again at the Three Bats Tour, at. Sheffield Arena and that was spectular too. I have to say Meat Loaf to me is a gift from god, he is so talented, and gifted, it's overwhelming. My favourite song, I have too actually, one of course is I'd Would Do Anything For Love and the other is For Crying Out Loud, but all of Meats songs every single one are amazing. And I also love him has an actor too, god he's an amazing actor too, I love him in Blacktop, wow his character has Jack, he's unbelievable. When I first saw that film I thought he would make a great Hannibal Lector he would.

I could go on and on about Meat I could write a novel, I will say that Meat Loaf, you are a true legand, your amazing, and I very special person. I cant wait to see you live again this year, im coming to see you in April, at Manchester Arena. I know it will be very emotional for me because it will be the last time I will see you again. Im gonna buy the meet and greet ticket, because I want to meet my hero for the last time, and to tell you your amazing person, and that you will me missed so much:( . Because I know for a fact, music will not be the same without you. To me you are the music. You deserve some well earned rest. So I'll say good luck with the tour, and to say a big big thank you , because you have given me the reason to love music so much. And the reason is you. I will carrying on adoring you for years and years to come. You will never ever be forgotten. Love Stacey xxx

Hey Stacey!

Welcome to the forum! Cracking story! He is a truly remarkable man and a kind, gentle soul! I met him once on a CD signing in Feb 2012 for Hell In A Handbasket. Told him I had already imported the album from Australia because I just couldn't wait and that I absolutely love it and he said to me "well you'll love this version better!" And gave me a thumbs up and thanked me for supporting!
I have a Meet and Greet ticket for Birmingham in April. My first one! I hope you got yours for Manchester! I have a ticket for Manchester too but not a Meet and Greet.
Listen, Meat posts on here alot so you never know, he may just see your thread and read your post. He may even reply to ya! You never know. He may even remember you! Again, you just never know!

All the best on here! I'm sure we'll bump into each other on here. There are some cracking threads to read through and the community on here is wonderful! There are some lovely people on here!

See you around

Welcome to the family Stacey :-) Thanks for sharing your touching story with us. We all love the big man, there's never been anyone else like him for me. Big man, Big heart, Big voice, a living legend. What sets him apart for me is how much he interacts and cares for his fans. I don't know any other artist that does what he does for his fans, whether it's talking to us here, posting q & a's on his facebook or talking to people on there. He is the best.
