 I thought that, in all fairness, I should stick to my nominations from last time as close as possible.
So once more i'm backing The Blues Brothers, The Wilburys, and Guns N Roses.
With additinal nominations this time around for Queen and Bon Jovi.
I stand by what I said last time about BB, they may be a "fictional" band, but their music is very real, and very hot.
They did a lot to promote R&B and bring it to a new generation.
The Wilburys, I still think they are the best supergroup EVER!
True, they only did two albums, but I think that was because Roy passed away shortly after the making of the first.
I know Jeff, Tom, Bob, and George felt conflicted over weather to make a second album (they very briefly considered bringing someone in to replace Roy before deciding there is no replacement for Roy, a sentiment I can dig 8) ).
Perhaps they decided that after making the 2nd album that working with The Wilbrys name was not the same without him, but that's pure speculation.
What I do know is they made great music, and if Roy had lived they would have made more.
A great band despite the lack of a huge catolouge of work 8)
Guns, as I said last time, when I was a kid we all had two things. Skateboards, and GNR stickers to put on those skateboards.
The fact the music is great doesn't hurt.
Queen.
What do I need to say there?
Great songs. Great musicians, and Freddy Mercury, awesome vocalist and showman in a class of his own.
Bon Jovi.
Epic tunes.
Their earlier work was the best, and they deserve their place on that alone.
Dunno who nom'd cold chisel, but good choice. Not sure how many around here will know them but they are nearly as revered here as ACDC.
ACDC was another of my noms, the Beatles, led zep, lynard skynard and I think it was the gunners...
Massive bands, dunno what I need to say more there

Wow, I have lots to say in this category. I guess I'll start with my own noms, which all were nominated last time:
Rush- I think these guys need to be in the HOF for several reasons. First, they’ve been together close to 40 years, and they genuinely seem to like each other and enjoy playing together. But mostly, their musicianship is top-notch. Their songs are kind of complicated to play, yet they consistently nail them live. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GsuQdXwL8w
Lastly, I love their humor. Their shows often feature hilarious videos starring the boys themselves. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNcAYv7GYUM
(Geddy's "Rash" shirt in the above vid was also part of the joke.}
I’ve also nominated both Geddy Lee and Neil Peart in the musician categories, as I think they are both standouts on their respective instruments. (I think Alex Lifeson is great as well, just that there are many of his caliber and better.)
The Rolling Stones- I can’t think of Rock and Roll without the Rolling Stones. They have written and recorded some of the greatest rock songs ever- “Gimme Shelter”, “Sympathy For the Devil”, and “Satisfaction”, just to name a few. Fifty years later, they’re still going strong (albeit with a few personnel changes).
The Beatles- No Hall of Fame would be complete without The Beatles. Despite a relatively short career as a group, they have influenced and inspired countless musicians who came after them. I think it would be pretty hard today to find anyone who hasn’t heard of them or knows at least a few of their songs- there aren’t many artists you can say that about.
Black Sabbath- They basically invented Heavy Metal. They are still going strong decades later, and are set to release a new album and tour later this year. And Ozzy rules! :metal:
Pink Floyd- It’s amazing to think that after all these years, that teenagers today still love their music. I think it’s testament to the timelessness of great music. I think David Gilmour is an amazing guitarist.
Now, regarding some of the other nominees:
I posted last time regarding my reservations with the Blues Broithers and the Traveling Wilburys, as I consider these to be more special projects than bands in the truest sense. I might consider them for induction, though. The Blue Man Group, on the other hand, isn't really a band at all. In fact, there are different members in the group depending on where the show is playing. I've got to say a definite no to that one.
I can also get behind AC/DC, G'nR, Aerosmith, Lynyrd Skynrd (not to be picky, but it is spelled with 4 y's), Queen, U2, and Bon Jovi- even though I'm not really a fan of theirs, they have paid their dues and earned their place.
Bands like Whitesnake, Europe, and Pantera, on the other hand, I don't think were influential enough or had the longevity to be Hall of Famers.
I would love to see the E Street Band inducted, as I think they truly deserve it. They don't really qualify for the "official" HOF per say, but if we say that the NLE qualifies, then the ESB absolutely does as well.
Lynyrd Skynrd (not to be picky, but it is spelled with 4 y's)
You only used 3 lol :-P

Lynyrd Skynrd (not to be picky, but it is spelled with 4 y's),
 Fixed
If I had to pick one to vote for out of this list it'd be the Stones. 50 yrs young, the band who created the bombastic stadium show we've all come to expect. They've recorded and written some of the all time great songs and performed them in front of millions around the world.
Whitesnake get an honourable nod, especially the early line ups, some superb Rhythm and Blues Rock and Roll. Check out anything from Live In the Heart Of The City.
Quo likewise actually have a wider range than people give them credit for, ealry Quo were a great Blues rock band. Much of their early catalogue is sadly overlooked in favour of the 3 chord stuff of more recent times.
No HoF would be complete without Queen of course and probably The Beatles, although personally I'd put others in there before the fab four ... too poppy for my liking.
