Really sorry to hear this m8 and I hope they get your sugar levels sorted soon as!!!!

As the years have gone on, meeting up with all my friends off here has become a bigger and bigger part of my personal Meat tour enjoyment, meet ups like Bath, Wembley, RAH, Newcastle etc etc etc have become as treasured memories as the gigs themselves.

You'll be missed Greg but getting better is way more important, and giving the tickets away is just a measure of the bloke you are, we'll be thinking of you and rest assured there'll be more than one or two glasses raised to ya!!!

Was really looking forward to seeing you on tour for a beer Greg.
So sorry to hear that you're not going to get to a show on this tour, especially as it's such a special one.

Hope you haven't given your tickets away yet.
There's a couple of months to the shows so i'm hoping you are able to get a hold on the diabetes and make it on tour after all.
Your health comes first though mate.

I'm fine thanks mate
Just had a chest infection, no biggie
I'm out of hospital now and taking things easy.

Take care of yourself and get well soon brother

I echo what the Mouse has said. Perhaps you may be able to buy the tickets back at the charity auction for double the price, meaning you'll be watching Meat at triple face value!
Get well soon and, as an alternative, here's praying for a Farewell Tour Second Leg.

Get well Greg.

It is a shame that you won't be able to see the tour but I think you giving your tickets away to a charity, especially one you hold dear to you, is a very admirable thing to do. Hope you get to feeling better soon... :D

Hey Greg, the best of luck to you, I hope you can get your Diabetes under control very soon indeed, hopefully in time for the next leg of the tour :D

I am sure Meat will continue to perform for years to come - He's a true artist, and though his days of official "tours" may be over, hopefully he'll become like BB king and just do shows year-round (maybe less for Meat because of his standards for vocals and the strength required for his songs)

Cheers :D

Sorry to hear this Greg,
I hope that you get better soon and if it's any constilation this will be the first tour I will miss too since 2006 due to stupidly priced tickets and poor seats. Typical being he's performing a whole album in it's entirety... Hope it'll be recorded mabe.

Take Care hun and feel better soon xxx

Get well soon Greg its a real shame that you had to give your tickets away on his farewell tour, I'm really ill myself but no matter how much pain I'm in I know that the show must go and having missed his last 2 tours I refuse to miss these concerts

I will be thinking of at Glasgow and Sheffield.

Keep rocking my friend my prayer are with you.
