The German amazon site lists two tour posters for the bargain of 3.300 Euros
Guess this madness can happen on Ebay, but Amazon....Can't really see anybody buying this there

Amazon have gone the way of eBay with certain things I noticed. Saw a music book for 1500 quid the other day. Not sure what or who is in charge of setting these prices but whatever it is is not quite with it.
Just saw this other music book of Les Mis here (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Miserables-Piano-Duet-Alain-Boublil/dp/0793558379/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1371124168&sr=1-1&keywords=les+miserables+piano+sheet+music). Over £1000 if you buy it used.
If it's an Amazon shop rather than Amazon themselves then it's just sellers like on eBay setting the prices - some friends of ours have shops on most of the Amazon sites and they run it the same as their eBay shop.
It is .. a company called Concertposter. As you say, the same over-optimistic frame of mind that so many eBay sellers seem to have .. nothing to do with Amazon

Actually there is a second one on there you can see as well.
Interesting that second poster from 1978 calls Meat "America's hottest live act". I think in this decade that description would only be used in a sexual connotation rather than describing exciting music. If it doesn't contain tits and ass I doubt people would brand it hottest these days. Shame.

Well I can't relate it to exciting music either. You reckon most people understood it different back then? I always thought it was an advertisement line used frequently, regardless if true or not ;)
It's hanging on my own wall and the wording plus the pink font colour has most of my visitors grinning when reading it
