Even if I would have attended Rod Stewarts gig tonight here in Cologne I would not admit it.;)
But he played an uptempo song called Forever Young that nevertheless reminded me of Meats power-ballad version of Bob Dylans song. And yes, Wikipedia tells that Stewart had to share royalties with Bob Dylan at the time cause his "new" song was so similar to Dylans. Good one, recommended.
BTW, at the very end of the gig, when the artist usually adresses the audience with all the well known emotional words, Stewart just said: "Now is the time to wish you the best of luck for the remaining part of the world cup."
