American Horror Story is one of my favorite shows on tv at the moment and with Lady Gaga being in season 5 (in wich I'm very excited about). I wonder if Meat would have any interest in doing the show? Nothing bisides the new album would make me happier than to see him in that show. Just imagine the kind of crazy he could be lol. He could even possibly be nominated for an Oscar if he was to be in a season or two. Thoughts?

Nope. Apart from my personal thoughts about Meat Loaf as an actor, Oscar's are movie awards, not tv shows. ;)

My favourite American TV shows are the office and breaking bad. Meat would have been great in those as a guest.

I feel a lot of the most popular TV/movie things he's done are weird and also specifically weird parts. Formula 51 and fight club are prime examples of that imo. Doubt American horror story would change that pattern. Would prefer more normal intriguing or fun stuff myself.

He would have been a good guest star on 'Oz'.

"Live or die" from HIAHB could be a great song for "The Walking Dead".

I want to see Meat Loaf play a great villain. I know he already has a few times, if you think about "Black Dog" and "To catch a Yeti". But I'd love to see something almost Disneyesque as well, or like a Batman villain. This would be so cool. And Meat could really do a Disney animated film.

He would be great in something like Malefecent or indeed a villian in James Bond and bring back a big angry looking fluffy white cat whilst Bond suffers in torture and has to try to escape sharks with fricking laser beams on their heads. I could totally see it.

I'd like to see Meat in more roles where he was NOT a villain, particularly a stereotypically arch one. He has a depth he brings to a much wider range of roles than those the industry tends to cast him in .. showing a deft sense of comedy in Everything Rises, the gentle troubled character of Bob in Fight Club, the embarrassed fearful blustering Fred in Focus, the coach in Rustin, the detective in Citizen Jane, the patient whose wife was dying in House, the quirky purveyor of voodoo tricks in Monk.

He could bring real depth to a lawyer, a profiler, a forensic psychologist .. and he has the skill for romantic comedy. He is so much more to offer as an actor than playing a villain, and it would be good to see him in a broader range of lead characters like these rather than cameo roles where he steals the few scenes he's in. Just as he's more than a singer of songs on stage in concert, he can be so much more than the bad guy in film and TV roles .. let's see him explore rather than squash him back into traditional bad guy roles.

Sorry, as much as I would like to see Meat in a main stream movie, I just can't see it, he is a good actor but to many see him as a rock star, apart from Fight Club, what main stream movie has he been in, which is a shame to be honest

I would love to see him in a more mainstream movie. His acting career could take off with the mainstream or younger generations much like Ian Mckellen's did with LOTR. I'm a huge fan of him now....Anything is possible for Meat :-) I don't discount anything! Meat is very talented!
