View Full Version : Wasted Youth
When people here say they like Wasted Youth? Are they talking about Everything Louder Than Everything Else?
I seen that done b4, so i'm curious. Wasted Youth is the best of its kind. I think its a poem? And everything louder is a really neat song
Wasted Youth is the spoken track on the album.
Everything louder then everything else is the song.... The same it is here on the forum (i think)
But.... to make it complicated.... got a video clip (manga style), called wasted youth, and it is the song Everything Louder in the background.
The Butcher.

Yes, I guess you'd call it a poem ... it's the speech right before Everything Louder on Bat II :) Meat's been using it as an introduction to Do It on the current tour .. and I hear it's amazing !! I can't wait to see it live :))

The Butcher. :D i have that clip. is it true that is from a show??
Wasted youth ( i guess this is the spoken track people r on about) Wot can I say about it that hasn't bin sed b4. I think it is a cool random piece of poetry by Jim Steinmen that just goes brilliantly wit 'Everythin louder than everything else' on Bat outta Hell 2. It paints a interesting image in the mind when u listen to it.
I love the last line - 'U gotta hell of a lot to learn about Rock n' roll'
Rozi :D

I have to admit I never really listened to it before ... but it's absolutely brilliant how they've been using it during the current tour ! It just sets the tone for the entire evening if you know what I mean :)

Well just look at my signature. What can I say? I fell in love with this bit when it was know as "Love and Death and an American Guitar" on the JS album.
10 / 10
But I would understand if it was DQed for not being a "proper" ML song.
