...'tell your family and friends!!' etc. etc.

Hey folks,

I have two Tickets for Tuesday 6th June, second night in, at 7:30PM. The person in question is no longer able to attend, so I'm offering them out to anyone who's maybe thinking of going along and wants to get some premium tickets at a good price (can I stop trying to sell this yet? I'm not good at this kind of thing. You can tell, right?!).

Seriously, though, they're both great seats (Dress Circle Centre). The face value is £196 -- but I'm open to all sensible offers. PM me for more info, photos, etc.

Having spoken to Jim I've also had the go ahead to include something a little special, too. I guess that, since it isn't in the public domain yet, that makes it kind of an exclusive. I'll include, along with the tickets, a printed version of a scene that I wrote which, although rehearsed, was cut a couple of weeks before opening night in Manchester due to pacing. Whoever gets the tickets, gets a printed copy of this scene (described as a 'a pseudo-erotic, mythic fever dream involving Raven and Strat'), and if this kind of thing floats your boat, hoists your masts (!?!?), etc. I'd be more than happy to have a short exchange about how I came to write the scene in the first place.

My minor involvement with the musical is pretty much over now. I'm incredibly honored that Jim trusted me enough and had enough faith in my abilities to allow me to help out in whatever small way I did. But this is completely Jim's baby. I hope that everyone who goes throughout the run really gets it. Have a great time, and enjoy something otherworldly that only Jim could create

I didn't realise how close I'd cut this one. If anyone's interested and really wants to see the show, I'll let them go for £100 (-postage) and I'll 'make up the difference'

The title should be re-written "ATTENTION SEEKING....."

Well, of course he's attention-seeking, he's got tickets to sell and goodies to give away with them. I don't know anyone who would announce that and not want attention. Go on back to your playpen, will ya, the adults have work to do.

Correct, in a way, as I am seeking attention for the sale of these tickets. The tickets are being sold on behalf of someone who is sadly too ill to attend.

As for me personally, well, you'll notice that I don't use blogs, vlogs, or social media of any type (except for this forum). So there goes that theory, Sherlock :sherlock:

You could say that attracting attention is the last thing that I want to do, especially since it always seems to lure out the desperate and the sad. The lurkers and the perpetual loons.

But lucky me, eh? Because here you are again.

Thanks everyone - both tickets have gone to a very good home.

Out of interest why do you have to pay for tickets if you're involved in the musical and friends with Jim Steinman?

Why do politicians vote for themselves?

Because people who create things are not obligated to give them away for free. This is the typical mentality that people take towards creative works. Just because you are friends doesn't mean you will give away things. Do you give away your work for free? How about something you worked on polishing for 50 years?

Your post comes across in a negative light to say the least.
